We stayed at Grand Villa Heights Hotel in a Bay View room while attending a wedding, and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Our room was lovely, with a beautiful view that made our stay even more special. The hotel itself is set in a stunning location, with breathtaking views overlooking Robin Hood’s Bay. The venue and grounds are absolutely beautiful and provided the perfect setting for the wedding. The wedding was fantastic from beginning to end, and everything was so well organised. All of the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast the following morning was delicious and the perfect start before our long journey home. We would definitely recommend Grand Villa Heights Hotel and would happily stay there again in the future.

This hotel is very lovely if you are in the refrubished rooms, we were not and our room was small and not well maintianed, the tv did not work and bed was not very big or comfortable The hotel also charges different drink prices in the restautant to the wedding rooms ( £3) more if you are attending a wedding which is apauling The hotel also had alot of flys every where

Beautiful venue, staff are all wonderful and very friendly, the only thing that lets it down is the toilets are far away from the room that you are in for a wedding but apart from that it was a wonderful day.

I attended this hotel for a family wedding and have to say that every single staff member was absolutely fantastic, helpful and friendly, the hotel and grounds are beautiful and so picturesque you could spend all your hours just looking at the scenery! Our room was lovely and spacious, clean and inviting! If I had to pick one small improvement would be a small fridge in the room for cold drinks but that would be it! I would have no hesitation at all in staying at this hotel again in the future and in fact I would love to return sooner rather than later!

The staff were fantastic and the location is stunning, with a beautiful view overlooking the bay below. The room was also very clean and the bed was extremely comfy. I would be aware that some of the rooms are not yet renovated, neither are the common spaces on the second and third floors so the photos don't always reflect the actual rooms. Hopefully when the renovations are complete, the rooms will all reflect the price.

Beautiful setting for the wedding we went to. The staff are really hardworking but probably needs a few more of them. Our room was very nice but others not so but I think the hotel is un renovation. With a price of £200 per night they all need to be excellent. Overall, a really nice stay and would return.

Beautiful location for the wedding we went to. The food and staff were excellent. However, the hotel is in the process of refurbishment and some rooms are definitely better than others. The staff work really hard but they could definitely do with a few more of them. Overall a lovely stay but for the room price of approximately £200 per nights I would expect a little more in my room than I got.

Went to a wedding, that was beautiful , the rooms are awful almost £190.00 per night is a joke, breakfast is caos if there's a big group, quite clearly not enough staff.

We loved our stay here. They are in the middle of renovations and we paid for a cheaper room that hadn't been renovated fully yet. We were a little worried it would be grotty or quite dated since the pictures on the website for those rooms weren't great, but the rooms were actually pretty nice. The hotel is beautiful and the grounds are amazing with breathtaking views. The restaurant is great. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Also it's lovely to see all the birds about the property especially the swallows who are constantly swooping around in the Carpark area

Location and views beautiful, garden really well maintained and lovely. Breakfast excellent, staff very helpful, room very spacious and comfortable On the down side but only minimal ,evening food while ok was a little over priced Room lacked a few finishing touches that could be remedied, ie. Toilet roll holder needed fixing properly, hooks on back of doors falling out, lack of toiletries, wall light on crooked, as I said only mini al but would have given 5 star if not for these.

You can tell that the hotel is under renovation and i'm sure when it's finished it will be amazing. At the moment elements are amazing but a few things missing. We stayed for a wedding - which was amazing! The food was brilliant too (for mass catering) and the staff were fabulous. The room was a bit of a let down. It was noisy, the furniture looked like flat pack, and the space needed a bit of a lick of paint. There was no full length mirror not ideal for wedding prep! The bath was great however, and loads of hot water. The whole place was incredibly clean and the location was just breathtaking. Breakfast was a bit chaotic on one morning (I think two weddings coming together) but the staff made sure there was regular top ups. Not sure at this point it's great value for money but when it's finished it will be fabulous.

All public spaces absolutely lovely and modern but when it came to bedrooms they are dated, not very clean and have basic amenities for the price. It lacked attention to detail. The shower trickled with a broken hose (friends in 2 seperate rooms had the same thing) Only one towel for two of us and no coffee cups to go with the courtesy tray. The toilet was grubby and stained and needed a good clean. Breakfast was excellent and the bacon and sausages some of the best I’ve ever tasted. Staff all lovely and Hurrell location and grounds absolutely amazing. Shame the rooms let it down!

The rooms are always very clean, with all the expected hospitality items. There's usually plenty of space in the hotel car park so no worries about parking. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The meals are excellent, our favourite being breakfast when there are lots of options available. We have already booked our next stay!

Stayed for a Wedding such a great place

This place has excellent food and the staff are very approachable The view from the hotel has to be one of the best in the uk
