Lovely location and access to some great amenities like the gym, sauna, spa, and pools. The staff were very efficient and helpful. There only thing that was slightly dated was the TV; you couldn't access the likes of Netflix.

We only stayed for one night. The outdoor pool was lovely with a great atmosphere- upbeat dance music vibes. Sun bed reservations required but as we had just arrived mid afternoon there were some free so we were lucky. Food was excellent stayed half board, evening meal was possibly the best pre food we have ever had, breakfast was also fabulous with so much choice. Room perfect with a great balcony (although pretty small) looking over to Valletta.

Had the best time at Barcelo, the room was huge with a beautiful side sea view of Valletta. The breakfast was lovely, so much choice. Reserving the beds at Manta was easy enough at Reception for the next day. Spa was lovely and the Hammer Strength Gym was fantastic. Location great for restaurants and to get the ferry over to Valletta. Would definitely come back

Check the pool times before you book! I didn't realise the pool is owned by a separate organisation; Manta Beach Club. Therefore hotel guests do not have round the clock access. There's a window of 10am to 6pm were you are allowed to use the facilities. During this time you're probably away from the hotel exploring Malta so may not get used of it. If I knew this I would have booked a different hotel On a more positive note, the hotel is really nice. The staff are pleasant and housekeeping do a really good job in the morning and evening. The rooms are excellent; they're large, modern and have good sound proofing. The hotel location is good. It's close to the ferries, bars and restaurants but away from the noise of the nightlife. Final thing to note is the fridge in the room is just an empty fridge, sadly it's not a stocked mini bar. I expected a complimentary beer, small wine and a couple of soft drinks like other hotels I've stayed at. Oh well!

The property was very clean and well maintained, and all of the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless. The hotel is also in a great location, with easy access to transport links to Valletta, making it convenient for exploring the area. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a huge variety of choices — definitely worth adding as an extra. One thing worth noting is that the outdoor pool setup was a little different from how it appears in the online photos. The pool is actually located across the road as part of a beach club, and guests need to book sunbed slots either from 9am–2pm or 2pm–6pm. The front row closest to the water is reserved for the general public, so hotel guests cannot use those beds. You can access the area either by crossing the road or via the hotel’s underground corridors. Beach towels were conveniently provided by reception.

Great location and friendly staff. The property itself is mediocre at best and cleanliness is not that great. Washrooms in main lobby smell like sewage.

Excellent breakfast. Very clean rooms. The gym is also great. The pool arrangements are overly monetized and I can see that this would actually annoy the guests moreso than appeal to them.

Just pulling up to the hotel from the outside was clean and tidy. Very inviting reception area and team were so friendly. The room was very clean and open (we were upgraded for my birthday) we had a hot tub. We had a sea view with a balcony. Easy to get to, bus route and bolt was easy to access and a 20 min drive from the airport. The breakfast area gave us a wide variety of foods but not halal friendly but plenty of vegetarian options. Fresh fruits and juices every morning. Room was made everyday and kept clean. The ‘ina spa’ was very relaxing and clean, very inviting. The 2 masseuses that we had were very good! Got my knots out well! I would 100% recommend this hotel and would stay again!

Breakfast is excellent a really good choice and well stocked. The room was spacious and had everything we needed the down side of the room was a silly blue motion sensor light that goes off all the time and really disrupts sleep. The robes need replacing a bit rough and old. It says there is a 24 hour shuttle from airport when I booked but there is not. What was disappointing is the indoor pool and outdoor pool are managed by another provider and they let you know. No robes or slippers in the spa for hotel guests a massive cockroach in the sauna not even a sorry. Quite a long walk through basement to indoor pool so make sure you collect your towel from reception this was a bit of a pain. You also have to book your sun lounger a day ahead. The beachfront hotel guests aren’t allowed in the front rows or around the pool that’s reserved for everyone else so didn’t feel like a five star. Tea and coffee provided in room but no biscuits but a nice chocolate and a turndown service.

All staff including the cleaning team were very helpful and so friendly. Our room was excellent with stunning views across the bay to Valletta. There was a huge breakfast buffet selection.

The hotel is really good and value for money overall. The staff were a highlight, the room was big and clean, with good facilities. If I was being picky the arrangement they have with the beach club for use of the pool is changeable (different rules every day we visited) and the hotel bar is a bit bland.
