The location is perfect. Walking distance from eateries and my favourite bar - Ah Chong, that serves amazing cocktails and the nicest sunset view. Although Cenang can get crowded and rowdy, but if you’re on a budget and looking for a place that is exactly on the beach, this is it. I wasn’t too particular about the food but breakfast was decent, enough to make me full past lunchtime. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was decent, I still had a good sleep :) This place is value for money.

Limited car parking, please fill in your name and phone number, reception will call to inform you if there is any space (limit 15 cars). Iron must be requested at reception, limited to 2 hours only. Must be returned/collected. Pool suitable for children, access to the beach very close, places to eat nearby, mall nearby, laundry nearby, everything is around. Just a little jam in the evening.

It takes a long time to check in. Then you have to be kicked from one line to another.

I am very dissatisfied with the parking management at Malibest Resort. The hotel requires guests to use a special access card to enter the parking area, yet at that time there were still many empty parking spaces available, but I was still denied entry because the staff informed me that all parking cards had run out. This kind of system makes absolutely no sense when the parking area clearly still has plenty of empty spaces. If guests leave the hotel temporarily, the parking cards should be returned and reused by other hotel guests. Unfortunately, hotel guests themselves are unable to use the parking facilities even though many parking lots are still available. The situation was handled very unprofessionally by the staff and gave the impression that customer convenience is not a priority for the hotel. The hotel management should improve the parking system, either by implementing a proper “first come, first served” approach or by managing the parking cards more efficiently. As a paying guest staying at the hotel, this situation was extremely disappointing and inconvenient.

Asked for a connecting room but they didn't give it. Then the air conditioner started dripping water.

Location is really good. Breakfast is okay. The room itself is big and decent so I am really good with the room. My only concern with my stay is that they don't provide disposable toothbrush lol, but that's fine. Very minor issue.

Comfortable room, third time coming. Only the worst is the reception staff, very unprofessional. The cleaner aunt is also good at greeting the morning. Please management send the receptionist to go on a course. That's it, comfortable room and reasonable price.

Stayed with my wife and two kids. So far, this type of room has an amazing condition like new, very comfortable, access to the beach. In the room, there is a fridge and safety box too. For me, the price is cheap due to coming with breakfast. Can compete with a 3-5 star hotel.

Feeling bad when we were making a complaint about the room we received, it was in a bad condition which as the air conditioner was leaking and caused our clothes to get wet. The staff entertained us with a sour face & said to us in not improper way while we were making a complaint. Please check your staff who were working at 9 pm on 9/7/25 at the reception counter. Please send her to Public Reaction Training for a better quality at the reception counter.

Awesome place to stay. Room is big and clean. Walking distance to the beach and go for shopping. The breakfast also delicious and got variety of western and local food.

1. Unfriendly front desk staff especially one female staff, no smile no welcoming and treat cstmr a bit rude. She should learn how to be a good CS. 2. The room unclean and dust everywhere.. I'm allergic towards dust it's make me felt uncomfortable during 3days of stay. 3. room smells terrible & ants everywhere 4. yellow running water
