Beautiful property and super friendly staff.

Pros: The breakfast was amazing! The staff were EXCELLENT.. SO kind and helpful! 💛Rooms were incredibly clean. Cons: The rooms were hot (could barely feel any A/C, so it was hard to sleep) and the showers weren’t too warm. Also, the location wasn’t the best.. wish we had stayed closer to Old Town.

Will definitely stay here again! Beautiful hotel, clean (modern!) rooms, very friendly staff, nice rooftop, serious party vibe in the downstairs restaurant. Not super familiar with the city, but the location seemed great. My one and only complaint was that the air conditioning was pretty weak, had a hard time sleeping in the heat. On the plus side, the mattress was ONE mattress - revolutionary concept for Europe. So no slipping in between two single mattresses pushed together. Really appreciated that. Price was fair. Can't wait to come back some day.

Great location near the train station and walking distance to old town. Music is unbearably loud in the restaurant as a more mature traveler (but we got in late and didn’t want to wander the first night)

Comfortable and happy stay at Mama Shelter. The bed was super comfy! Staff are very welcoming and friendly. A little walk from tram stop and seafront but very near Nice Riquier station - perfect for day trips - and only a few minutes from a good range of restaurants and bars. Buffet breakfast decent with a good amount of choice. Options for the restaurant and terrace menus are a but decent. The room had no kettle so way of making hot drinks, which is disappointing, and surprising given the level of hotel. I also couldn’t get the air conditioning to work. I kept forgetting to ask reception about it but at one point the control screen said “centrally controlled”. It meant the room never cooled down and it was uncomfortably warm at night which meant poor nights sleeping despite the comfy bed. Overall, I liked the hotel, but the warm room and lack of coffee/tea making in room would probably mean choosing elsewhere if I returned to Nice.

Clean room, staff very friendly, general aesthetics very pleasant great shower, good TV options for films and tv. Room service great idea however would be better if they delivered to the room. Room feeling a bit hot an unsure how to work AC system (maybe include a step by step guide or additional QR code on TV). No Tea and coffee facilities in the room.

Ideal location a short tram ride away from Old Nice, meaning it was quiet but still convenient and close to a choice of bakeries and restaurants as well as a shopping centre. The room was clean and extremely comfortable and the rooftop pool and bar perfect for a relaxing break.

This hotel has a fun, consistent aesthetic. They leaned into the maximalism trend in a clean understandable way. The staff gives great dining recommendations and it’s walkable to most needs. The pool, bar and restaurant are lovely. *They should add some missing details to make it feel more upscale: a gym, robes, washcloths, conditioner and coffee/tea.

Disappointed. Checked in to our room to find rubbish from the previous guests on the floor. There was also broken glass in the hallway outside the room that my girlfriend narrowly avoided. I informed reception about this who apologies, but nothing was done! The glass was still there for another 36 hours, and the rubbish in our room was never picked up. There was also no shampoo or conditioner in the shower, just a bar of soap that was designed to act as everything.. I asked reception if they had any actual actual shampoo and conditioner and they said no but advised there was a supermarket down the road! The pool area was cool. All in all very disappointed with the stay given we spent nearly £600 for 2 nights...

Hi I check in and my room was extremely hot and was told that is the law and temperature can't be adjusted. When I asked to see a different room it was cooler. I asked for someone to bring me a key since I was gathering my items in my original room I was told I need to come downstairs until I believe the manager heard my conversation. It was poorly handle and in other hotels they would offered to take care of moving my room. Just don't think u handle it correct.
