I checked in at 11 pm local time, the door to go upstairs (hotel) was still open, I opened the reception door, all the lights were already off, after greeting them several times, the officer came out, and when I said I wanted to check in and had already booked via traveloka, the CS was confused looking at the room list, after 10 minutes the CS said the room I booked was already sold, I spontaneously got angry why the room I booked was sold, after that the CS called someone while still confusedly fiddling with the list of available rooms, and then offered that he would help upgrade me with a room that had 1 king bed plus 1 single bed, but I still didn't want it because there were only four of us (each two of us in one room).. and I asked for a refund, suddenly the CS gave me his cellphone to talk to someone (maybe the owner or manager, I don't know), where he said the room I booked was not for sale and if I objected because there was 1 king bed and 1 single bed, he would ask his officer to remove it.. I checked the room and it wasn't comfortable...
In the end, I chose to stay at the Asia Malacca Hotel, even though the price was quite high (240 ringgit/room), even though my money wasn't refundable.
