Stay was fine but breakfast was totally synthetic and best avoided

No evening meal due to chef needing time off, staff seemed to have no idea what was happening. Only food available in the area was pizza at a hostel across the road. Breakfast room opened at 8:30 and consisted of help yourself Coco pops, croissants or toast, if you had an early start, nothing. Overall a very poor experience.

Absolute little gem of a place, just off the beaten track. Proper old world pub with the friendliest hosts I’ve ever met. Will definitely be back to try the food as we arrived too late to eat. Please give this little place a try you won’t regret it.

An excellent stop over point on a long journey, and a great place to base a stay in the area. Great pub atmosphere and a clean quiet room!

Lovely place to stay staff and food were excellent

The room was clean, warm and bed was comfortable. Staff were all friendly. We had a friend join us for breakfast. This was not a problem. Would recommend to friends and family this hotel,

Perfect in every way….

Nice team, they had only just taken over and there was no heating but they sorted a heater out and that was enough. Rooms were clean but I missed breakfast due to work. Lovely area.

The team had just moved in that week, no central heating available but they sorted oil filled heaters and they were great. Missed breakfast so can’t comment on that. Nice location.
