Great location by the river and across from the main town centre and cathedral. Very smart exterior but rather basic inside. Rooms clean. No bar. Shower over bath with no shower curtain so bathroom floor very wet. Garage around the back of hotel accessible from another street. If you just want somewhere to sleep its ok

Everything excellent

As in 2016, my wife and I slept very well after a long day travelling (the hotel being again very accommodating of our late arrival). Breakfast offered a very wide choice, buffet-style, regularly replenished. The relaxed approach to checkout was a very helpful start to our short journey to the Brittany coast, at La Foret Fouesnant, to join our family, after spending the morning looking around Quimper.

Great location, superior 2 star hotel. Very clean hotel and friendly staff. Would recommend. Only negative was that no tea and coffee making facilities were available.

A good week's stay. The Dupleix is in need of a little refurbishment, but has secure parking, a brilliant position, and friendly staff. There is no restaurant in the hotel (apart from for Breakfast), although there are plenty of restaurants close by.

Have stayed at this hotel for many years. Situated in the heart of Quimper and a short walk to restaurants and shops. Pleasant reception staff. Rooms nicely decorated, ample storage. Parking garage – a real bonus - accessed from the back of the hotel.

The reason we stayed at the Hotel Dupleix was its central location, just over the river from the Cathedral. The room was adequate although the bathroom and general decor dated - no spare pillows in the room. Good and varied buffet breakfast. From our experience of hotels in France the room was a little expensive.

Chambre confortable Manque dans la salle de bain des portes manteaux, les serviettes et les produits de douche n'ont pas été renouvelés pour la deuxième nuit. Il n'y avait qu'un rouleau de papier pour les deux nuits. La télévision était installée sur une chaise en équilibre et ne fonctionnait pas en permanence. Il manque une prise électrique sur un côté du lit pour recharger le téléphone.Dommage. Lit très confortable. Personnel de l'accueil à l'écoute et disponible

Location excellent - receptionist friendly, room clean but otherwise very average. Paid extra for breakfast which was very average too in comparison to your typical French continental (charcuterie, cheese, yoghurt included) none of theses last 3 were included.
