No lift and a third floor room carrying heavy bags is an issue, especially with no local parking. Room itself is fine and great value but area around hotel is very poor. Opening windows just lets in a strong smell of cannabis from the undesirables in the area. Stifling heat and no air con but wouldn’t be an issue in “normal” weather. Pillows like crisp breads - used all 4 at once and still barely any use. Kitchen area well stocked.

Really nice room in very convenient location. Perfect for solo (or couple) travellers. Looked newly decorated and great TV. Highly recommended.

This is a very surprising hotel as it is MUCH better inside than you’d expect. We booked a superior room with a lounge/kitchen, which was top floor. It was very warm on the night of our stay so with the windows all open there was a lot of street noise. The police need to act to give fixed penalty fines to cars and motorbikes without appropriate silencers and those deliberately reviving their cars. It’s cheap and the stairs are in need of a power wash but our room was very nice with an excellent power shower. Clearing a house after a death, we’ll definitely book this again.

The room was clean & the kitchen was good for a short stay.Must say the property is very well located. The staff is excellent & they stored my luggage for a couple of hours,after check out,free of cost.Many thanks for that! However,I found the stairs extremely dirty and that was a put off!

Kitchen could have used a bigger pan/pot, no mirror in the bathroom. Bedsheets were dirty and covered in hair on arrival, forced to sleep on the couch for the first night. But housekeeping resolved the issue quickly on the next day

Good central location. We were shocked by the state of the entrance to the apartments from the street, not a good first impression. No lift so had to climb three floors of stairs with luggage but did have help offered to us which was nice. The apartment was small, darkly decorated in grey and quite disappointing. Some things missing in the kitchenette (no forks) and a broken glass so left a note. It was clean though and had a comfy bed. Furniture damaged and bedside light not working. Didn't have to spend a long time in the apartment so it didn't spoil our stay. A tea towel, and a kitchen cloth would have been helpful as we had to go out and buy them. Could be improved with a few changes/additions.

Easy check in procedure door code gets you into the building and room. Spacious room with modern kitchen and bathroom, well stocked tea/coffee etc and good hot water supply. Warm rooms and well stocked towels and bedding , only drawback is due to its location you get some noise and guests turning up at stupid o'clock in the morning. On the whole if you can get this for a good price its well worth it

The hotel is in an excellent central location, right in the heart of Wakefield and close to all the nightlife and entertainment. The welcome sheet describes this very cleverly, although in practical terms it does mean it can be quite noisy outside until around 3am. I stayed on a Saturday night so mid-week may be quieter. On the plus side, the location makes eating locally incredibly easy, with plenty of places to eat less than a minute away. The keyless entry for both the hotel and the room is brilliant and very convenient, which makes the whole stay feel smooth and modern. My room was very clean and perfectly suited for a one-night stay. There were plenty of fresh towels provided, and the bathroom was nice, with a hot shower that was very welcome. Overall, it is a clean, convenient and well-located place to stay, especially if you want to be right in the centre and do not mind some late-night noise.

All good with only a couple of minor issues. Could do with vanity mirror with plug socket, hangers on backs of doors and a shower mat.

Location central had doubts about noise but it was so peaceful! Well equipped kitchen and it was really cosy and comfortable.

Second visit, different studio but still very good quality and comfort for the price in central Wakefield
