The room had everything we needed, but a microwave would have been a bonus. There was a little kitchenette area with a kettle and a fridge and breakfast items for a continental type breakfast. Some of the cereal packets were out of date and the cereal bowls had dried cereal stuck to them. There was a table and four chairs and a settee and a TV in the room.

Very poor quality sofa bed, should be 2 singles for adults or children.

9/10. We are a family of four and stayed in the Resolution Room. It was exceptionally clean and very spacious, with two bedrooms and a huge bathroom. A small continental breakfast is provided in the room, including a pastry, cookies, yogurt, a selection of cereals, apples, juice, and milk. Nothing particularly special, which is why I rated it 9/10 rather than 10/10, but it was included in the very reasonable room rate and, as we are not big breakfast eaters, it suited us perfectly. We picked up a few croissants from a local grocery store, and that was all we needed. We also had dinner at the pub downstairs, and the food was very good. If I’m ever back in the area, I would happily stay here again. Excellent value for money.

We had a lovely two day break at the Buck. The staff were so kind and accommodating. The room was lovely, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was clean, with nice furnishings and roomie. We ate at the Buck both evenings and the food was great. We regularly visit the area and will definately stay again. Thank yo I :)

Great place, made such a change from regular hotels with personal touches. Room was a great size & included a sofa & small table/chairs. The small tea/coffee station with some breakfast options included in the room was the bit the bowled me over… a treat at 6am, cereal & fruit, new milk & yogurt, plus proper coffee bags, even a tray to carry it to the table. I did eat downstairs within the restaurant on the 1st night which was fab… calzone pizza special & cookie dough special were both tasty & comforting. Overall a really 10/10 experience, whomever put the small touches into the guest experience needs to be rewarded… I stay in corporate hotels week in/out 50 weeks a year & this was such a refreshing change that they could learn from. (A few hanging baskets / pots in the side tunnel around the side hotel door would brighten the entrance up, as it felt a stark/cold). Fabulous stay, very happy to recommend!!

Nice spacious room, good facilities

Location was lovely and the room was immaculate and spacious. Spoke with 2 people from the Buck Inn and both were very polite and accommodating.
