For a whole apartment with kitchen and four rooms, this was good value in the under ninety quid range. It was clean. The only thing that lets it down is that the third party agencies you might see it on, including this one, don’t have the right number for the host. I was left outside for an hour trying to get Expedia to help me, and they couldn’t. That’s because they don’t have the right number. The right number ends in xx62. The other one ending 510 will not pick up!. I had to rely on a person coming in to get the right number. I have asked the very friendly owner to sort this out but Expedia I do not trust. All that said, the actual owner was great — very helpful and apologetic. So. The only grumble in that bottom flat (which is actually on York Way) is that I couldn’t get any hot water. Perhaps the boiler is kaput. I showered in kettle water. This for me isn’t huge if the place is clean. Therefore four stars.

The apartment was up to standards, it was everything as described :) very kind and friendly host as well very accurate.

So you get to the door and phone the number. He messages you the code for the front door and the code for your room. Unfortunately I was sent the code for someone else’s room! There were 2 phones on charge and all their possessions at my mercy. Phoned them back and got the correct code. Room was fine but none of the glasses had been washed. Absolutely filthy. Wouldn’t recommend.

The location of the property was excellent, with several London Underground stations within a mile, several bus stops round the corner, and a couple of Tesco Express shops 5 - 10 minutes' walk away. The property was advertised as having a front desk for check-in, and this is not the case. We arrived to no check-in desk with no way of accessing the property. We ended up using the buzzer to call the other flats in the building (there are 6), and thankfully someone was in and they gave us the phone number for the owner so I could call them. At this point, the owner provided the codes needed to access the building and the flat. I had booked the flat for 2 people but had filtered on two beds. I booked it because there was a double bed and a sofabed, but when we got into the room only the double bed was set up and there was no bedding for the sofabed. We ended up sharing the double bed as it would have been too cold and uncomfortable for one of us to sleep on the sofabed. The apartment itself was safe, clean, and pleasant, but the communication was poor and our experience at arrival was stressful because we had no information about how to get in. The description needs to be updated on Expedia and the owner needs to actively manage the bookings through Expedia, communicating the access codes in advance and checking the bed requirements of the guests. On the basis that my experience would be the same again if I booked this apartment, I would not book again.

I wasn’t given any details prior to my visit about how to access the property or room. In the information I was given it says “This property doesn’t offer after hours check in. Front desk staff will greet guests on arrival at the property” Upon arrival I had to phone up (after several attempts) I was given details of how to access the property and the room (flat) when I accessed the room imagine my surprise when I realised it was already occupied and when I refused to look at another room (flat) I have been told that I can’t have my money back that I have paid and Hotels. Com have not been very helpful. I didn’t feel safe, obviously vendors using the hotels.com to advertise their properties can dictate their terms and conditions to hotels.com. I don’t think Hotels. Com have any standards that these vendors have to follow etc …

Apartment was okay but not really representative of the pictures online. Also, we never received the check in details until we were stood at the apartment door and called the host because we couldn’t get in.

Great place, very convenient location and nice to have the kitchen as an option. The entry to the flat is by key code which you need to get by calling up the number on the hotels.com booking when you arrive. This isn't apparent when booking, but was super straight forward. Be aware that Gmail incorrectly summarises the email with the hotels.com phone number making it look like it's the property number. Make sure you login to hotels.com to get the correct phone number. Would happily recommend and stay here again in future.

Excellent location, no hot water, laminate flooring screwed down with exposed screw heads. Windows wouldn’t close, bed in poor state. Cheap rate and tolerable for one night only!

Great little one night stay while I was in town for a concert. I called ahead as instructed and they sent me the door codes, they then called me about 10 mins later to make sure I had got in okay. There's a double bed and a fold out bed. I slept on the fold out bed and it was fine - got me through the night. A few reviews say they had issues checking in, I think they're just strict on times. I called ahead the day to make sure I knew what to do when I got there and told them when we expected to be there. It was all fine and had 0 issues.

We didn’t actually get to enter the property. We arrived and the “front desk” where we were to check in is non existent. We called the number listed and were met with a voicemail stating the person does not own any property in London. Zero communication from the property after booking. Check in details say to check in at front desk between 2pm & 8pm. We tried to contact the property via the chat but just kept getting automated responses confirming our booking. We had to run around London trying to find another place to stay for the night which was an added bonus. Currently trying to get a refund. Avoid avoid avoid.

The property doesn't look very inviting from the outside but once in the apartment was clean and warm. Getting in was a bit of a struggle as the contact number on expedia is incorrect and it was only by meeting a friendly guy who was staying in one of the other apartments did I get the correct contact number and it was plain sailung from there.

Aucune information pour accéder au logement, pas de code. Pas d'accueil physique comme promis par l'annonce. Nous n'avons pas pu accéder au logement Numéro de téléphone injoignable Bref l'horreur totale Il nous a fallu trouver un hôtel à 19h. Je ne recommande pas du tout et j'émets des doutes sur Hotels.com car aucune réponse 24h après
