For the price we paid this hotel was excellent, great location only a small stroll in to town. Staff were friendly and rooms were nice and clean with everything you need, will definitely book again.

Room had all basic amenities and was clean exactly as advertised, staff were very thoughtful and couldn't do enough to make your stay relaxing and stress free would stay here again

The hotel is in a great location for exploring the area. It could do with a bit of freshening up of the paintwork. Our room was clean and well stocked with tea/coffee and bottles of water. The food in the restaurant was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. We did not need a carpark but there was one opposite that charged £4 per 24hrs.

The room I booked was for 4 people. It was spacious and clean with functional kitchen and bathroom. However there was only one set of cutlery and two cups which made it difficult for us all to have a drink or eat anything. There was also only a small table with 2 seats. Cooked breakfast was included and was reasonably good but I would have also like to have the choice of a cereal option as well. The Hotel is in a good location albeit on a road. It was easy to walk to both low town and high town in about 10 mins. Overall our stay was good.

Was not particularly impressed. The bathroom was quite possibly the best room. Saw one member of staff the entire time and only saw him once at check-in. The bar was closed for some reason. The radiator in my room was so filthy it had a tail of unbroken dust flapping about at the bottom of the radiator. Somebody had left the key to what I can only assume is a storeroom in the door from around 12pm and was still there when I checked out the next day

Best hotel in bridgenorth love the staff and the food is amazing

On arrival a warm welcome. Parking just over the road £4.00 for 24 hours which was pointed out to us as we thought it was svr users .Can't say enough on how freindly and helpful all the staff were,from the greeting to advising us on the nepalese menu ,food was great and Suraya texted us to ask us what we wanted for breakfast as we hadn't ordered. They went that bit extra. The George was clean and tidy but needs needs some tlc . In all a great break in Bridgenorth and will stay at the George again and definitely use the resteraunt for their great food.

Very friendly staff and room was in a very good and clean condition. One has to remember that it is above/adjacent to a pub/restaurant and so there some minor issues with outside lights and sounds due the the kitchen fan (which was turned off once the kitchen closed for the night). Also note that the place has no on-site parking but the car park opposite offers space at £4 per day. Well served, British breakfast. Overall, a lovely experience.

Late breakfast timings

Hotel not open when we arrived. Apparently, bar doesn't open til 5pm. Evening meal was excellent, but a bit rushed cos they were very busy. We hadn't booked a table in advance. Didn't expect it to be busy mid week. Live music, but didn't go on too late. Breakfast was somewhat limited, but what we'd ordered was lovingly cooked. No complaints at all
