Iris Hotel is well.sotuated for the North Shore prom. It's a bit dated, and the beds were rock-hard, like sleeping on a table. The family rooms are directly off of the bar area (though this was closed) and main lobby. The lack of fans/Aircon compounded these issues and meant for a very sleepless night. The breakfast options were very limited.

Staff were kind. Bedding clean. However, the room was very dusty, headboard ripped, shower had to hold it to use it, we found the bed to be very uncomfortable.

Hotel was a good price and in a good location . The 3 rooms we had we at best only ok . Our room the hand held shower head didn’t work and the overhead was close to the wall so ran onto a glass shelf so made it very difficult to shower in . One of the other rooms had all mould in the silicone around shower try so they wouldn’t use it . The 3rd room all the leatherette was worn off the headboard and looked really dirty . Needs headboard changing urgently. We were only there 1 night so we made the most of it , but won’t be coming back .

The Iris hotel was not my standard of cleanliness. The shower had that much black around the bottom of the shower had to buy bleach and put round outer edge and it came up clean. There were cobwebs on the ceiling. Pillows looked very old and lumpy but always take my own anyway. Breakfast was included but didn’t eat anything or made a cup of tea we ate out. I would not visit there again. Only thing was good were very white towels and quilt cover white. We only lay on top of bed it was so hot.

This hotel does not match the description. It is the shabbiest building that I saw on the Promenade. Is not expensive, but that shouldn't be used as an excuse for how dirty and poorly maintained it was. In my room there was damp on the ceiling from an old leak, and mould and fungus growth was well established, so it hasn't just happened. The wardrobe door was falling off, there were homes in the walls, and the carpet was grubby. Not a pleasant experience at all!

We had a nice room on the 4th floor with a lovely sea view. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok. More variety of fruit and choice of cooked food would have been good. Shame there is no parking but this applies to most of the hotels.

Great location and clean rooms. Good for budget vacation. Good and helpful reception staffs. WiFi only at reception and No WiFi in the rooms. No room service if we are staying for more than 1 days even if requested. No Air Conditioning. No parking available. Street parking available free after 4pm till next day 10AM. Great location, just opposite to the Llandudno beach.

Very helpful staff. Early check-in was not a problem. Good budget hotel. Ideally situated for all the emanities.

The only thing that was acceptable about the Iris Hotel is that desk staff were polite. The carpets and other surfaces were visibly dirty. Looks like the hotel had not been cleaned in months perhaps years. The sheets on the beds appeared clean but were well used. There was mold growing in the shower and a crack in the sink. The windows were sealed shut and there were water stains on the ceiling. I had booked 4 nights at the Iris but 1 night was enough and on the morning of May 29 I checked out of the hotel and requested that I be refunded for the remaining 3 nights based on the unacceptable conditions of the room. The desk staff said it would be up to 10 days before management contacted me. I have not herd from the Hotel.

Staff really helpful, close to all amenities.
