What a wonderful stay we had! Everything was perfect, beautiful log cabin in a very tranquil location, surrounded by beautiful greenery - exactly what we needed. We loved the welcoming pack as well, so thoughtful.

I stayed at Hollybush for 4 days and 3 nights over the May bank holiday weekend when we had a heatwave. At over £200 per night, this was a disappointment. The lodges themselves are beautiful structures with ample parking. I liked hearing birdsong everyday. The shower is great with excellent water pressure and hot water. The sofa is comfortable. In general it was a good location for where we needed to be. Ample grassy area for kids to play. But.. these lodges are not well equipped, not very clean (mud on bathroom floor, decking and outdoor furniture filthy) and the staff unresponsive. Before check-in i sent multiple emails both directly and via Expedia to ask about amenities and whether there is a fan (heatwave forecast) as it's a self catering place and I wanted to know how equipped it would actually be. I recieved zero responses other than to say booking confirmed, lock box code, and check out 10am sharp. Note: there are no cleaning supplies so bring your own scouring pads, sponges, cloths and spray. NO FAN! No foil, frying pans, baking tray, oil, sugar, ice cube trays. Only 4 coffee pods supplied for 4 days. Knives are blunt. The bin in the bathroom has no inner bucket or bag so everything will fall to the ground. one towel per person. Mattresses are very uncomfortable with no support on edges. No bathroom amenities including bleach. Bedside table is pretty but has large decorative holes so cant actually put anything on it other than a book. Outdoor fairy lights don't work

Stayed over Easter with the family and we loved it. Hopefully we can return in the not too distant future.

Wheels on the single beds were not ideal. Had toddlers and could have easily fallen out

No check in instructions were sent to us and the person (Irene) won’t answer their phone while we arrived, later on she wasn’t even bothered to reply to a text message. I am not a review person, but i wrote this as i was prompted quite afew times. Location is ok.

Perfect from arriving to sadly when we had to leave. We arrived to a lovely warm and clean lodge. It had little extras like chocolates on the beds and a bowl full of goodies on the kitchen table. The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed from dish washer tablets to binoculars for bird watching!! In a beautiful location with a pub in walking distance that served a delicious Sunday roast dinner!

Beautiful accommodation, clean, well equipped, very comfortable, peaceful, exactly what we were looking for. Great base for exploring vicinity including Bath and Longleat.

Clean, quiet, beautiful

A really nice place to stay. Very quiet and off the beaten track. Found the bed very soft and kept rolling into the middle. Also use the tin opener but it really needs to be replaced. That said, it you’re looking for a place to just break away from it all and unwind I don’t think you could find anywhere better.

Outside area around the building was very dated. Also needed a clean outside. Inside was nice and good family space, plenty room to sit and was comfortable.

Beautiful large in remote surroundings would definitely recommend the local pub in the village. Will definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the lodge. Irene was so accommodating to our needs. Such a gorgeous peaceful place, we wish we could have stayed longer.

Stayed here 25th till 28th October 2025 with friends. Really beautiful Lodge as soon as we saw it it from parking up the lodge looked homely and when we went inside was even more impressed, we enjoyed our stay nice it was out the way enough so it was quiet but also walkable to a pub/restaurant down the road called the Bell Inn but also about a half an hour from points of interest like cheddar gorge and 40 mins to bath. Would definitely stay here again loved it.

Great three night stay in a lovely lodge, in a great area for exploring. Highly recommend!

Great cottage!!

O local é muito bonito, calmo e perto de Glastonbury. A casa é muito aconchegante, toda de madeira e com instalações novas. Fiquei com a minha esposa e gostamos muito! Ficam essas sugestões de melhoria para o locatário: 1 - Limpar as teias de aranha do lado de fora da casa, na varanda principaplmente, pois dentro é tudo limpo, mas na chegada cria uma impressão ruim. 2 - Tentar melhorar a Internet se tiver algum provedor melhor na área, pois tem apenas 7Mb/s de Download e 2 Mb/s de Upload, para trabalhar é complicado. 3 - Sentimos falta de uma esponja para limpar a louça. Outra melhoria seriam panelas que não grudam, o que dificulta a limpeza, ainda mais sem espoja. A máquina de lavar louças não tira tudo. De resto tudo ok, recomendo e voltaria a ficar novamente.
