The fish room we got to handle to the door with broken. They give us an under room.. The elevator is so small and there’s no stairs in case you want to take the stairs. Everything is made out of recycle Wood, which is OK, but it’s not my style for a hotel.. The bed was comfortable, but I wouldn’t stay there again.

The lady at the front desk was rude as hell!!!! Arrived 25 min ahead of check in and was told to wait in the lobby... come back at 4 for keys.. the lobby was rusted out and dirty and not at all welcoming and uncomfortable and not welcoming at all. Got keys at 4, and was informed there were no clean towels..they never contacted me or told me how to retrieve towels. Finally got towels at 11 p.m. in the lobby. Crappy stay. Zero hospitality!

I was charged for three nights while I only booked and stayed for 2 nights. July 9-July 11, 2025. Because it has now been 2weeks since I reported it to the inn and have not been refunded after 2 phone calls and 1 email I will report this to my credit card and Expedia today. Because I stayed during a very popular celebrity golf tournament the rates were doubled during this time. Would expect better service and a quick fix as it is an extremely easy mistake to fix. Will not be staying here again.

Overall experience was very good. Near lake tahoe I dont think there are very modern facilities in CA side. This is an old building but the rooms are well maintained. One small tight Elevator. Parking is tight for big cars if you want shaded garage spaces. but open parking is also available. Rooms are Big and spacious. Bathrooms are clean. Walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Never got the door lock fixed. We requested Cleaning service and never got it.

You could hear ever conversation from the hall an no one came a cleaned our room or gave us new towels.

Walking distance to food and shopping. Nice pool.

You get what you pay for. Room outdated and I couldn’t figure out the AC… the room was so cold and I couldn’t turn it off. I could hear the pluming from the rooms above us. It was very noisey. But the location of the property was conveniently close to all the things in south lake.

Nice morning receptionist and great location! So as far as cleanliness, moldy shower, bad breakfast, no milk for cereal, weak coffee and green bananas.

Check in was good. But the carpets were old. Bathrrom was old and dirty. Smells in the room and hallway

We were checked in 1.5 hrs after the check in time bc they had “ no rooms” available. No pool towels even after I requested them. When I was finally able to check in they told me there was no clean towels at the moment for the room. The window opened completely with no screen (we were on the second floor). Mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and the carpet looked like it wasn’t vacuumed prior to us checking in. I’ve emailed the hotel with no response.

Great location. Two blocks from Heavenly Village. Lovely room. Super comfy beds! Good breakfast. Stayed here on a weekday. Not many people around hotel or Tahoe. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was very dirty. The carpet was dirty not clean. Garbage not picked up in dining rooms during breakfast. And on the top of all Cockroache in bathtub Breakfast not how on picture the cheep beagle muffin and pie twinkle style.

I like the proximity to Tahoe features. I did not like the maid service.

I liked that the beds were comfortable and that this was walking distance to many things. The issues were the toilet was running through the night and I reported it twice to the front desk, and nothing was fixed. Housekeeping did not empty out our trash for two days; while they may not have made the beds to conserve water, please at least empty or the trash bins. I had to ask the front desk for a trash bag in order to make room within the trash bins. The door sweep was broken to the room so you could hear every conversation in the hallway
