Convenient option for a stop pver,brilliant food in the restaurant. Breakfastvoilf have been better for the price charged and 4* hotel.

Room sold on the basis of hotel services with on-site restaurant. On arrival, discovered restaurant is closed and staff leave at 10:30pm locking up the bar and communal areas.

Not really a full service hotel, more like a restaurant with rooms. Service was friendly and room was comfortable. No food available when we arrived on Sunday afternoon.

Lovely hotel. It is the French equivalent of a converted stately home. It has only 18 rooms but our junior suite had high ceilings, French doors that opened on to the courtyard and lovely bathroom with walk-in shower. The in-room safe could have been better both in its placement (it was on the bottom of the wardrobe meaning you had to kneel on the floor to operate it) and in its operation (we couldn't get it to work but the staff were so friendly and helpful, they provided us with the key that is used by stay to unlock the safe. As it was only relevant to the safe in our room the was no danger to others). But the breakfast, which was an additional charge, was definitely worth very euro. The best 'continental: breakfast I have ever been offered. Scrambled egg, hams, cheeses, yogurts, fruits, breads, etc, etc. You really couldn't ask for more! Definitely will return if I'm in the area.

A very painful experience of occupancy！The room condition of this hotel is very bad. I feel very sorry for the hotel's handling and attitude. We found the black bug crawling on the bed and some blood on the bed too.We immediately asked the hotel to change rooms but was told that the room was full. and we left the hotel angrily, though it was 11 midnight.

This was our first time to stay at Maison d'Anthouard and we were very impressed. The staff were friendly and helpful, the building and grounds were beautiful and the food was awesome. We will be back!

It was a hectic time in Lyon and we wanted to get off the beaten path, so we booked this hotel. This was the most perfect choice. We were overwhelmed with the friendliness and hospitality of the Staff, and the country style of the property.

A great experience in an exclusive Maison with rich history. The decor was especially tasteful as I was greeted with the signature chandelier in the hotel lobby. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful! The chamber room boost of comfort and simplistic elegance. A gem in Lyon

Arrived late in the night early morning and was greeted well. Hotel was being renovated and I am allergic to paint. This made my stay there very difficult.

When you enter the entrance gate you can feel how beautiful this place must have been once. The House is grand, and the garden impeccable. The highway runs next to the Hotel so you need a loud music to accompany if you want to enjoy the Garden where you can sit and have a drink. I would still recommend staying this place if you need a place for a short stop near Lyon. It is a very good value compare to hotels in Lyon. The hotel personelle are ever so friendly and helpful. The room was rather small but the queen size bed was very comfortable. I also liked the fact there was a coffee and tea maker in the room and the amenities in the bathroom are from the high quality Nuxe brand.

Beautiful and tasteful hotel. The service there is absolutely impeccable. Friendly, helpful, professional. We loved it and will go back.The only caveat is that the breakfast was somehow disappointing compared to the rest of the standard of the hotel (canned fruits in the fruit salad! non freshly squeezed orange juice (or at least good freshly squeezed packaged brands). But dont let this deter you, the overall experience is great!

Très bel hôtel. Bien placé pour une halte. Beau jardin. Nous n'avons pas testé le restaurant. Belle chambre avec tout l'équipement de ce type d'hôtel. Petit-déjeuner correct, sans plus. Manque de choix.
