Just not a nice place to stay, really noisy, old fashioned, expensive for what it was

I stayed in one of the Executive Apartments for four nights, and the size of the room was plenty adequate for 1 or 2 people. The room was clean and the air conditioning worked great. Although I did not use it, everything in the kitchen worked. The hotel is in a great location, countless places to eat and pubs within walking distance as well as public transportation. The hotel staff allowed me to check in early (for a small fee), and they let me charge my phone at the reception desk (long story not worth your time, but they were a huge help and were happy to help). If you are an animal lover, there is also a very friendly and playful black cat that hangs out around the reception area.

The room we had - the air conditioner was not working. We told them about it Monday - they said the repair man was coming Tuesday morning. Then Tuesday morning, they said he was coming Wednesday morning, Then Wed morning, they said Wed afternoon. There was hardly any improvement, and it was up to 90 degrees outside. Wed they said they would give us another room, but my son went to look at it, and said that new room did not have A/C either. Miraculously, the A/C started working on Thursday. We did not sleep well for the first 4 nights - we were drenched in sweat and had to sleep with a wet towel on our heads. I have a heat rash on my body still. It was miserable. They should have checked to make sure the A/C worked before assigning the room. Also, the shower curtain doesn't go down all the way, so the whole bathroom floor gets wet. The bathroom is super tiny. And I know the description says there is no elevator, but we had to climb 4 narrow sets of stairs to get to our room. The beds were also up stairs in the room. The staff seemed nice enough. The location was great - tons of good restaurants near by, Do not come here if you want A/C.

Pro: location and price Con: Dirty, hair everywhere

Great location, lots of good food and coffee shops nearby. Good WiFi, clean and comfortable stay, would certainly return. Did not use laundry in suite but that’s a bonus often when traveling

1) very cramped space, no room for luggage 2) washer / dryer didn’t work properly as the drain filter was clogged solid, gross. 3) I accidentally booked one day early immediately tried to fix that mistake but they refused. I told him I’ll be checking in early the next day, but they had rented out that room anyhow and I had to wait for it to be cleaned.

Close to a tube station and very clean

The room was adequate and check in was easy. Just had a but if disturbance because if other people banging doors and since my room was right next to the street, I couldn’t sleep very well. The room was clean and property at a nice location.

Check in took forever. When we arrived, the guy on reception was dealing with another guest who was having communication issues, so we were left standing in the corridor for about 15 minutes before we could even check in. Then I was told there was a £75 deposit to pay, which was never mentioned when I booked or in the confirmation email. Apparently it takes 7–10 days to get it back, and if it doesn’t show up, you’re told to contact your bank. It would’ve been nice to know about this beforehand. I don’t really understand why they don’t just keep your card details on file and charge you if there’s any damage. We got upgraded to a suite, but it was still really small so I can’t imagine what the room we’d originally booked would have been like. The room was okay cleanliness wise. The beds were clean, but the floors and walls definitely weren’t. We didn’t use the kitchen because we were only there for one night, but if we’d been staying any longer, I would’ve expected it to be cleaner. Overall it’s fine if you just need somewhere to sleep and won’t be spending much time in the room, but I wouldn’t choose it for a longer stay. (There was a resident cat who was absolutely lovely)

The location is good. It is a lively area. The room was clean. However, the room or mini-apartment was so tiny...... I do not recommend it for two people. The rooms are just too small and narrow.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was nice and had a kitchenette which turned out to be very helpful for not spending the whole budget on eating out every meal, and it was tucked away in an otherwise very active and cool neighborhood with a lot of nice restaurants, and walking distance to public transportation to everywhere we wanted to go

Pictures are a little misleading, this space was VERY small, the bathroom was a little claustrophobic even. Aircon was good, staff friendly enough, and there was a cat too which was fun.

It was exactly what I was looking for for a 2 night stay.

Très petit. Les photos ne représentent pas le réel. Trop de bruit et la nuit à cause des bars en bas. La cuisine est petite. La salle de bain est très petite. Il y a des lits en haut pour les enfants mais trop petit pour plus de deux personnes. Le personnel est accueillant. Quand vous sortez de la porte de l’hôtel c’est une piste de vélo qui viennent à tout allure. Je ne retourne pas dans cet hotel.

Excellent value, good location , 5 mins from Old St. 2 bed flat is best description. Compact but perfectly formed.

Convenient location, cozy room. Was easy to communicate with the staff.

Great location, room is fitted with laundry, AC, a kitchen, bathroom, etc which is very convenient. Housekeeping was very ontop of things, overall a very comfortable stay! There’s also a very friendly cat who hangs out around reception which was a bonus.

The place was a great value and the location excellent. The reception staff was very polite and helpful. Would stay again!

Great location and air con

Room was immaculate, beds were comfortable and air conditioning was a god send. In a lively and vibrant area. Great for shops and plenty of food options nearby. The property had mixed reviews but really could not fault it, especially when staying over in the hottest weekend ever. The property was even able to accommodate two extra guests ( our friends) when their hotel cancelled at the last minute. Staff were very helpful and pleasant.
