I had the worst experience so far from both the hotel Marella Cabo and hotels.com I made my reservation and they mentioned this hotel charges a deposit for the reservation. When I arrived at the hotel, they have double booked my reservation. The lady who gave me the keys, said that happens sometimes because when the hotel applies the reservation fee, for hotels.com, it appeared as another reservation. The dates are even different. The Marella Cabo said they couldn't help me because I used Hotels.com. The later couldn't communicate with them. When they finally did, they penalized me with 25% of the room I never booked. This is terrible and disappointing!

Excellent service and property

Absolutely terrible experience. Customer service was incredibly disorganized and rude, and felt more like harassment than support. While the rooms look nice at first glance, many basic things do not work, and it felt like the hotel was constantly trying to extract additional money. Be extremely careful providing your credit card. I was double charged over $2,500 USD, and one of my guests was also double charged. After a full day of calls and messages going nowhere, I had to file a credit card dispute and freeze my card out of fear of further charges. I booked 21 rooms for a retreat. Staff initially confirmed in writing that we could use the gym and rooftop for meals and yoga. Months later, they tried to charge us, then backed down only after I showed written proof. Despite written confirmation twice, I received threatening messages minutes before a class demanding $1,500 USD to use the rooftop, forcing major last minute changes. Concierge communication was passive aggressive and inconsistent, with random rule changes sent daily. Other issues included extreme road noise, pipe squealing at night, no darkening curtains (its bright even at night), malfunctioning showers, unreliable internet (had to hot spot even just for emails), barely warm hot tubs, extra fees for housekeeping and early check in, and misleading beach access requiring crossing a major highway that is unsafe. I strongly advise against staying here, especially for retreats or group bookings.

The customer service here was absolutely amazing and the rooms and view are just as pictured. Highly recommend staying here while visiting Cabo.

The space was perfect for our family of four. Very clean and spacious. Would stay here again.

The kitchen had next to nothing for us to cook food. One tiny pot that didn't fit potatoes for 2 people. A couple of frying pans. We contacted them for more items but they said they didn't have any. We had to use the DOGGY BOWLS to store our food. The AC had a gross fish smell that never went away.

The suite was enormous.

This place is amazing I am going to stay here every-time I come to Cabo. It’s a home away from home it has everything you need. There’s a pool, jacuzzi, and a gym. Washer and dryer its nice to not go home with dirty clothes. There’s security at the front gate 24hr a day. The staff is available via text or phone call if you need anything. We stayed in the ocean view condo and it’s a gorgeous view. It is very clean I wish I could stay her forever. There is a resturant and a burrito place down stairs so delicious and a convent store plus a pharmacy so you are good to go with anything. We used uber to take us downtown Cabo San Lucas all the time and very efficient to get around. Thank you Marella Cabo for an amazing stay

Get darken shades on the windows

All was fine except the place is besides an extremely busy highway. Getting in and out is a bit tricky. The cars noise is very noticeable at night. The place needs darkening curtains as the sun and the outdoor lights don’t allow for a restful sleep. Other than that the rooms are specious and clean.

Was a great place to stay for a weekend it so spacious and has everything you need for a home stay and the property staff was great and easy to communicate with will defenetly stay here again
