Unique historic hotel with many interesting restaurants and shops nearby. Note this is a contactless self-service hotel, with no live staff and everything is by code and text message. This format showed its limitations when I texted them upon arrival there was no iron or ironing board. I did not get an iron until the next day, after I left for my convention with a wrinkled shirt. And the ironing board never showed up over the entire three days! So if anything is missing you are out of luck and they are slow to respond. On the plus side you can park for free on the street and everyone says it is safe.

The Hotel is in an old building that looks nicely maintained. There's a pub there, a coffee shop/cafe, and some nice outdoor patio/seating areas. There is no hotel staff on site. We did not receive the check in instructions before our arrival and had to scramble with help from the restaurant staff and a property manger for some apartments attached to the hotel to help us (the mix up may have been by the remote hotel management staff or and issue with Expedia messaging). The room was bleak, very inexpensive furniture and beds, with primer paint patches on a few walls and a 5 cm diameter hole in another. After placing the booking, the hotel had messaged us about street noise, particularly on the weekends. It would be nice if they let you know that before booking as if seems like the agreed upon smoking section was right below our room. We would not stay there again. It's a shame, because the property (other than the actual room) is pretty nice and it's a cute little town with a nice downtown and some decent restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The lack of staff on site is also an issue for us; one of the advantages of a hotel is having that support. Without it, you might as well find a short term rental.

Clean , nice pool , grounds need some work .

Great room with huge bathroom and shower in a prime location. Restaurant and café was awesome. Downside is the parking is not convenient and you have to pay if street parking is not accessible. There was a party with very loud music at the restaurant on Friday that kept us awake until 3 am and a hockey game playing on Saturday so lots of noise as well late into the night. Finally quiet on Sunday for our last day.

Great value, awesome location, easy to self check in, comfortable bed. Lovely pubs around the area, safe street to explore, nice staff at the pub around the area Bistro l’Aut.. and nice bakery Aux2 Freres down the street. Not the quietest at night and ok water pressure - but those didn’t bother us. Thank you for the lovely memories!

Parking is easy and secure but didnt use it

Self check in is fast and easy. Nice big family stay great for kids and parents. Clean, comfortable and spacious. We loved it and will definitely book again in the future.Only a little detail when we went to the self checkout we got locked in-between the entrance of the hotel and the restaurant. We panicked until a person showed up and let us back in the hotel sección to be able to use the elevator down to the basement parking. Great everything else perfect. Great stay.

La chambre (appartement) était parfaite mis à part le lit et le divan-lit. Le lit était tellement inconfortable que j’ai dû aller dormir sur le divan (2 places). Le divan-lit était tellement endommagé qu’il était impossible de l’ouvrir en lit. La seule option c’était de dormir sur la surface assise. Nous étions deux personnes et le lit était inconfortable pour elle aussi.

Tres belle chambre confortable beaucoup beaucoup d'espace ... on se sens comme a la maison. comme beaucoup disent il y a le bruit et c'est vrai, mais c'est un batiment d'époque avec beaucoup de fenestration donc normal d'entendre ce qui se passe dehors. Merci pour le paravent il a bien servis comme rideau a la porte de secours... une amélioration pourrait etre faire a ce niveau. Sinon TOP CLASS

Beautiful room. Very clean. The only downside was the extremely hard mattress!
