Hotel Maurice is a diamond! We loved how convenient it was to Old Quebec City, it had a funky boutique charm while also feeling modern at the same time. We can’t wait to return!

Noisy bar. Entrance through the bar where alcohol is being sold. Do NOT appreciate alcohol in the fridge in the room - prefer alcohol free room.

There needs to be instructions to use the lighting system!! There is no phone to call front desk. One tv did not work. Did not get fixed during our two night stay. One bed side light would not go off. Had to try to sleep with it on. Both side lamps were then shut down the next day. Was not fixed by our check out. Bath mat showed up on our second day. Location was great.

The Hotel Maurice is a very style orientated establishment and that is reflected in the decor of both the bedrooms and the public areas. We found that for practicality purposes the bedrooms were a case of style over substance with over complicated lighting controls, overlarge bedframe that seemed designed to catch your ankles, a dedicated network hub and tv that did not work and beautiful heavy curtains that needed two to draw.

The hotel Maurice is a classic Quebec hotel that has been extensively updated. We found the room layout different than the typical room but it is roomy and that is part of its charm. The bathroom, room and hotel in general are clean and in excellent condition. The area around the hotel includes many great restaurants.

Beautiful upper floor room with sitting and eating alcoves. Elevator made it easy.

Food was delicious and internet was fast. There were many festivals that made parking and transport difficult and at times frustrating. We experienced many delays with valet and discovered the kitchen being opened is based off on crowd not hours.

Everything was superb about the hotel. Its new, the staff are friendly and professional, and the decor exquisite. I would stay there again in a heartbeat and definitely recommend this gorgeous hotel.

This was a perfect place to stay for walking around the city. Loved the park one block away.
