We stayed for two nights and had a lovely time in June. We enjoyed the use of the dock and the fireplace right on the water was great. Situated perfectly for sunset. Check in and out was super easy and we were welcomed with the signature Kawartha warmth. Don’t hesitate if you’re thinking of booking. The room and bathroom were super clean. And we never heard neighbours in other rooms.

Just spend a few nights at this place. Nice welcome when in checking, property looks nice and Orval clean, unfortunately we didn’t see any service for the nights we are there, not ones they come and clean the room, garbage or changes the towels, in the end we had to ask for towels and take away the garbage and use are own garbage bags. Are room never got clean sweep or floors washed is to bad. For all the time we there we didn’t see any staff working. No

I only stayed here for one night, but felt very welcomed! Owner is very nice, with lots of interesting stories. Be sure to bring bug spray - lots of black flies! Sitting on the dock by the water was otherwise lovely.

The overall experience was alright the matters however was very hard and uncomfortable our backs were sore pretty much every morning, dinner inside the resort was bit expensive for only 2 people that costed $80 and food didn't impressed us! Room was clean but the bed should've been much more comfortable so we wouldn't feel back pain or being sore every morning

Our stay at Somerset Lakeside Resort was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Mike went above and beyond to help us when we made a mistake in our booking, and all his help to resolve it immediately made us feel welcome. The resort itself is truly a hidden gem, spotless, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by breathtaking lakeside views. It was the perfect escape from the city and exactly the peaceful getaway we needed. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a quiet and memorable lakeside retreat.

Really enjoyed our stay in the bungalo on the property. Great views of the lake. Used the ipad to order food from the restaurant - the food was incredible. We ordered the pulled pork sliders, mac & cheese and cheesecake 5/5.
