The hotel itself was good, but the room was so noisy that I couldn't sleep without noise-canceling headphones. Every night, there was loud music and drumming from the cathedral area that continued until 2:00 or 3:00 AM. Additionally, there was constant noise from the lobby that lasted until midnight. It was unacceptable. I was also disappointed to find no tissues provided in the room, which was quite inconvenient.

Hotel and room was very clean, staff were nice, and the location was prefect! Highly recommend if you want to be in the heart of Mexico City!

The hotel’s numerous staff keep it exceptionally clean and provide helpful information in Spanish and English. They provide free daily snacks, coffee, tea and water in the lobby. Although in the heart if the Historico Central, only a block from the Zocolo, the rooms are very soundproof.

Las habitaciones estuvieron muy limpias, cero problemas con el valet parking. Pero la taza del baño no funcionaba, éramos un grupo de 5 en una habitación familiar y no podíamos usar el baño, teníamos que ir hasta el lobby. Llamamos a recepción para informar que no servía, mandaron a un chico una hora después… y no resolvió nada. Al día siguiente volvimos a hablar y fue la persona de limpieza, dijo que el agua tardaba mucho en subir y que probablemente si estaba tapado, en toda la estancia no se pudo usar el baño. La verdad fue muy incómodo y un inconveniente muy muy grande. Ojalá puedan estar al pendiente de los baños.

The staff was very nice and helpful,at first I stayed in the rear tower then I switched and was night and day much newer cleaner and more space…I would highly recommend this hotel and I would go back!!!

Hotel catedral is a great place to stay, ideally located and very comfortable when a a very helpful staff.
