Excellent positioned room overlooking river. Quiet although hotel busy. Very comfortable bed. Nice decor. Bathroom spacious though back of door not cleaned lately! Staff helpful. Breakfast and dinner excellent. Only small minus after they had lost that we'd prepaid for a meal . They were polite and I believe a new computer system was the problem but could've said sorry. Overall very enjoyable stay.

Hotel very smart and well maintained the staff were very good at their job and pleasant with it. Must give a mention about the dining experience. Lovely setting tables overlooking the river and the food I thought was exceptional. We had a junior suite overlooking the river on the third floor with a small balcony and french doors (room 30) There is a second carpark which is ideal for access to those rooms. It's situated virtually next door to Worcester cathedral We will be back many thanks for a great stay

Family room felt more like a 2 bed apartment. With views of the river from the bar, restaurant and the room we could not have asked for more. Be ware there are not many parking spaces Easy to walk in to the centre of Worcester along the river bank.

Lovely location by the Severn River, beside Kings School Worcester and the Royal Worcester Porcelain Museum, short walk to the cathedral and pedestrianized shopping area. Excellent restaurant with big windows overlooking the river - fine breakfast and dinner.

Beautiful hotel and what a location right next to the river Severn. Views are fantastic sitting out on the terrace and having a cool drink. The hotel itself is lovely and well maintained with great character. Only a few minutes walk into the centre of Worcester. Breakfast was brill the next morning with plenty of refills for coffee and tea. We stopped one night to attend the horse racing which is 30 minutes walk along the river from the hotel. Good parking at the hotel. Will definitely visit again.

Old Georgian building with lots of character, right by the River Severn. Huge beer garden/outside eating area. Easy walking access to centre/cathedral/ racecourse/river walks. More modern annexe is a bit bland, and the rooms are quite small. Especially those on the top floor, as part of the ceiling is sloping. Decent sized bathroom though. Although a fan was supplied, the windows could only be opened a small way, so room was a bit stuffy. The pub is very popular and gets very busy at peak times.

The check in staff were friendly and the hotel is ideally situated near to cathedral and town Parking is available but not many spaces and very tight to manoeuvre The hotel was full when we stayed and this definitely had an impact as breakfast was very slow and we had to wait sometime to order hot food The room was extremely small even for a standard room and unfortunately the bedside cabinet was covered in dust which I assume meant the room hadn’t been used recently and not checked The second room we booked for family was also dusty and had dirty cups I did expect better

The hotel is in a great location on the river and the staff were extremely welcoming. I stopped in one of the cottages, the room needed a bit of TLC and some new furniture. The water didn't drain properly so you had to keep stopping the shower. The chair in the room had so many stains, I generally avoided it. The breakfast was great, but when you looked under the tables there was food on the floor and it wasn't from breakfast.

This is a wonderful, historic hotel on the river in Worcester, a 5 pound taxi ride from the Worcester New Shrub train station, and within walking distance to the city's cathedral and central shopping, dining area. The breakfasts couldn't be better, and the restaurant is top notch. My room had a separate living room facing the river with operable French doors and windows.
