Really enjoyed the stay, Breakfast was great. Only thing was the slightly bumpy 20 min ride to the resort from the main road.

Place was great overall. Pool is very large. The rooms are great, all with balconies facing the ocean and kitchenettes well equipped. There is a little store next to the hotel which is great for snacks and even food to cook in the kitchenettes. Not too expensive either. The staff are nice but not very helpful. I connected with them through WhatsApp and I was then handed off to the “experience manager” who took 3 days to respond and then was not very helpful after that either. We were staying as a surprise for my girlfriend’s birthday, I told the front desk and experience manager via WhatsApp and asked if there was anything small that we could arrange for her birthday. I was presented with only one option which was a very expensive private dinner on the beach. After I said that I couldn’t afford that there was nothing else. No little chocolates on the pillows, no card on the bed, or voucher for a free cocktail. No one even said happy birthday to her when we were checking in or eating dinner in the restaurant on the day. They were there to help when you needed them but they really didn’t seem interested in doing much beyond the bare minimum. (Other than writing happy birthday on the plate after I told them it was her birthday again and ordered dessert). Overall beautiful resort, slightly hard to get to, and average service experience.

Great and lovely place!!! The staff was so helpful even when I had some water temperature issues it was a great stay, if you’re looking for activities as a solo traveler maybe try another resort since most of the excursions you need more than 1 person.

This hotel has a great beach location. Although we couldn't go into the ocean because of jellyfish allegedly. The sea is best for surfing and water sports not so much relaxing. Pools were fine. The rooms were in need of repairs, first room we found mold and they didn't move us until the next day. Second room was better but showers were leaking, air conditioner smelt of mildew. There is only one restaurant and the food was good but the service was slow, the server had to come back many times to re-take our order. Generally staff was friendly. due to the rooms I wouldn't stay here again, I would probably rent an Air B&B in the area instead next time.

On our way to check in to the Golden Frog (30 minutes away), I was met with an email that they did not have a room available. This reservation was made 6 weeks before we arrived in Panama and confirmed via email with confirmation number. This is very unprofessional way to do business. I would caution anyone booking a reservation to be very wary and have an alternative plan. I was offered a lunch for compensation. What a joke!

The staff was excellent specially the restaurant and all areas of the pool. The room was a bit dirty. I had to ask for the toilet to be cleaned before I could used it.

We enjoyed our stay here from our arrival to our departure. We didn’t spend a lot of time on the beach because the waters are not kid friendly and is extremely windy. There were many surfers and very few swimmers. However the hotel has an excellent pool and many spots on the beach where you can sit, play and hangout and still enjoy the ocean view.

We loved our stay there. It was an amazing property with friendly and helpful staff. The expansive pool was great for adults and kids. The breakfast was exceptional. Incredible attention to detail throughout the property.

Check all the boxes for this property. Everything well done by staff in all areas. Very family friendly. I was a solo guest for 3 weeks. There is something there for everyone. Pool area, beach, spa, gym & common areas well maintained & clean. Also very safe with watchful eyes of security & mgmt. Got to know some of the staff. Andrea, Yusarra, Idanis, Efrain, Luis, Georgi, Daniel Surf Shop & Senor Dee with Block Security. Made longer stay reservations for next year before I left. Pool water quality was excellent. It is the best staffed & managed property you will find. Nicholas
