We had the best stay at Riad Tarba. We booked the airport transfer with them and this worked brilliantly. Once our driver dropped us off at the drop of point, Mohammed was there to meet us and walked us directly to the Riad so we didn’t get lost. He then welcomed us with Moroccan Tea and delicacies on the rooftop terrace. Mohammed downloaded an offline map to my phone and set up routes to and from everywhere we planned to visit. We were made to feel so safe and welcome. Every member of staff we spoke with were so professional, friendly and helpful. The Riad was a place of peace and tranquility. I would highly recommend. Thank you for making our stay so special.

Cute little riad. At first my friend and I were like where are we but its safe. You have to go on a 10min walk for Uber but they have services to and from the airport or train station if you book prior. We didn't eat the breakfast because we slept in or went out but the service is great. They gave us tea and cookies upon arrival. The pool is on the 1st floor and the water is cool if you soak your feet or take a dip. They have cold water to buy and the water to shower is cold of hot, so its great. A/c is strong in the rooms when you turn it on turbo so at night it will be ice cold lol.

If you want a Riad experience this is not it - I decided to book because I work in the afternoons till late but it was the worse decision ever. The location is awful; as a solo female traveler I don’t feel safe AT ALL walking late in the area. There’s nothing around the riad. The services of the riad were awful: the internet was SLOW and it will get disconnected all the time, even when they tried changing my room. On top of the cherry when I changed my room I left a small bag with my underwear and some headbands and they didn’t have the courtesy to try to give it back. Also, when I came I had to carry my heavy luggage, I called and texted and no one answered even though I told them I needed help with my luggage, same thing when I left; I had to carry down my luggage and they wanted to charge me $30 bucks to help me??? Where’s the hospitality?? I didn’t experience a Riad at all more like a hotel in the middle of nowhere. Also even the breakfast was awful, only sweet things. I definitely don’t recommend this place.

The place was absolutely amazing 😍😍😍. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived—even though we got there very early in the morning. Instead of making us wait awkwardly, they invited us to relax on the terrace with a drink while our room was being prepared. We were visibly tired from an early flight, and all we really needed was a warm welcome and an early check-in. The staff completely understood that. They assured us they'd get the room ready as soon as it was free and clean—and they did. Honestly, a great place with genuinely wonderful, attentive staff. Highly recommended.

My stay at Riad Tarba was excellent! The staff was super friendly and helpful and went out of their way to walk me to the square since I was a solo female. Cannot recommend enough!

Our stay in Morocco was absolutely unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to Aziz and Farid. Aziz, our Riad manager, was exceptional from start to finish. He went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our stay was perfect. His warmth, professionalism, and genuine care made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. No request was ever too much trouble, and his local knowledge and recommendations helped make our trip even more special. Farid was incredibly helpful on our first night, making sure we were settled in and comfortable after our journey. His kindness and attention to detail immediately set the tone for the wonderful hospitality we experienced throughout our stay. The service provided by both Aziz and Farid was truly outstanding. They consistently went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, comfortable, and memorable. Their dedication to guest satisfaction is remarkable, and they are a real credit to the riad. Thank you, Aziz and Farid, for making our trip so special!

The staff Mohamed and Farith were extremely helpful, there’s no way I can come back to Marrakesh and not stay at Riad Tarba & spa! They ensured I was safe always and helped a lot with information with my daily activities! So sad I had to leave, felt like family for the few days I spent there. Hopefully I’ll be back before this year ends? God willing 🙏

Booked this Riad with high expectations given the overwhelming good reviews, but wow were we disappointed. The pool is very small, cant really call this a pool, never used by anyone whilst we were there and not clean. The room I had was fine, a double and a single bed, which were comfortable, with decent pillows. My room had a fridge which wasnt plugged in, couldnt be plugged in as the cable was nowhere near long enough to reach a socket, so it just sat there although none of the other rooms had a fridge. There are rugs all over the room which can be quite slippy, and there are no hangers, and limited storage space. The bathroom had seen better days, very uninviting, with a toilet seat that didnt fit. toileteries wre provided in two plastic bottles, pink and orange, with no idea what they were for. Breakfast was average at best, nice fresh orange juice, with an assortment of bread - you have to ask for the omlette, and thats it. The Riad is at least a 20 minute walk from the main square. We felt the description on Hotels.com was misleading and inaccurate and will be taking this up with them.

We had a lovely stay at Riad Tarba. It was walkable into the main square. The staff were wonderful and kind. Breakfast was delicious but very carb/sweet heavy..it needed some protein/egg options and some fresh fruit/yoghurt would have been great. Overall a wonderful stay.

The room was small but clean. The staff were friendly and courteous. I booked at a reasonable price because of its location, but was charged extra “tax” of $50 USD when we arrived. Btw, the location is so far off the beaten path that you cannot take a taxi or car to the Riad. Expect to walk a while with your luggage. They “complimentary” booked a taxi to take us to the airport but charged us $26 to take the taxi there. Overall, if you can, do a little more research than me. We were desperate and limited on time.

This Riad is VERY far off the main street. Ive stayed in a few raids and this was the most inconvenient location wise.

The Riad is charming, comfortable and clean.the staff incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfast was wonderful. The reason for the reduced rating is the acoustics. We had people coming back to their rooms until 13:00. All sound is amplified and incredibly noisy in your room. We had a rough night getting sleep. If it wasn’t for the acoustics, I would rate this place 5 stars.

If you are looking for a TRUE Riad experience, this place is for you. Set in the Old town, you will experience everything you see in the movies and more. The staff is warm, friendly and eager to help. At breakfast you are greeted by bees, which can be overwhelming, but a beautiful delight as they will not bite you unless swatted and provoked. The rooms are cozy. If you need extra room in a bed, I would suggest you opt for couples room, as the bed is bigger. The area around the Riad is very traditional and if you are coming from a major city, it may be intimidating and feel unsafe, but we had no problems walking at night. It was great to be « in the mix » and see the vibrant culture and people. Again this is the Old Town, and it is VERY animated and alive. We didn’t eat at the Riad, so I can offer no opinion on the food. My niece got an in-house massage and was very pleased. Be prepared to walk, bring comfortable shoes. All in all we enjoyed our experience and the Riad was a solid 4+ for its accessibility and connection to and in the Old Town.
