Nice room, fun location, friendly staff. Just note, no air conditioning. Overall, good value and solid option

Staff was friendly and the room was spacious & nice. Like other reviewers noted, the front room facing the street was loud due to traffic noises. There’s a cute restaurant next to the hotel.

The staff were friendly enough, but the management of the hotel was lacking in basic planning and customer service protocols. There is no safe, and there are no bedside reading lights. After check-in they tell you “by the way” the restaurant downstairs will have noisy events “only until 1:30 or 2:00” on Friday and Saturday nights. Although street noise is to be expected for a ‘city view’ room in a huge city like Lima. the restaurant noise was terrible. Four out of five nights the doorbell rang incessantly— there was no indication that there were any night staff to deal with either late arrivals or people needing to get in without a key. The hotel had absolutely no spare towels— because it was a holiday, the ‘laundry service’ was not available for two days; when we asked again on the second day for clean/dry towels, the staff just shrugged shoulders and said sorry it is ‘a problem’. The room floor was extremely dirty (you don’t want to see the picture of our feet after walking from the shower to the bed) — this was still the case after we asked for the floor to be swept. The hotel asks that you do not flush toilet paper, but they don’t empty the toilet paper trash cans unless you specifically ask —even then it didn’t always happen. It took more than an hour and three requests to get a roll of toilet paper…. The hotel is in a good location and the building has character. Read a bunch of reviews before you book this place.

Love the room and the decor of the place! The neighbor is walkable with many coffee shops around. We had the room closest to the street, it was somewhat noisy at night. Would not recommend this room for those who are sensitive to noise.

Beautiful old building, huge room with high ceilings, large comfortable bed, private bathroom and a wall of Moorish windows. Note this room has the music of city traffic noise, for me it puts me to sleep. Gorgeous restaurant on ground floor, with hot breakfast included. Walking distance to lots of top restaurants, and main Barranco plaza with a cathedral, and oath down to the ocean. Great place & value!! Choose an off street room if traffic hum is of concern. Smart key fob for security/ entry.

L hôtel est très bien placé dans le quartier barranco on peut tout faire à pieds. L hôtel est joli et le bar restaurant au rdc également. Si les personnes de l hotel sont tres accueillantes celles du bar et restaurant un peu moins. Le petit dejeuner compris se prend au restaurant mais on ne comprend pas bien si le restaurant et l hôtel sont communs ou si l hotel a un partenariat car on comprend que l on a un budget par personne sur la carte indiqué par le restaurant et pas par l hotel.sur les 3 petits déjeuners il a fallu le rappeler à chaque fois au restaurant au moment de payer. Je ne trouve pas ca très clair.pour finir si vous voulez dormir correctement ne pas réserver l hotel le week end car il y a de la musique très fort jusqu'à 2h du matin.

I stayed in one of the «city view» rooms, which is basically facing a very loud and busy street. The windows do not cancel out any noice at all, so it sometimes felt like the traffic was in my room. Luckily, I stayed there by myself and could wear noice cancelling headphones, but it’s not a place for two people to wind down and have a cozy conversation after a busy day. There was an issue were some strange material sprinkled down from the ceiling onto the bed. I reported it to the receptionist, but they couldn’t figure out what it was or why it happened. The breakfast was simple, eggs on toast.

Excelente personal y huéspedes ya que tuvimos un susto con mi mami ya que realizaron una fiesta por Halloween y mi mami se atoró con un pedazo de pizza y ahí mismo tanto el personal como invitados a la fiesta de la CIA American Airlines vinieron a ayudar a mi mami. Infinitamente agradecida a Sr Solari, al Sr. Saúl y demás personas ❤️
