The room was slapped together. The building was inhabited by the homeless at onetime. They tried to paint over the writing on the bathroom walls but could still see the words. Paint on tiles. Bathtub was painted and painted over the drain and overflow. Disgusting

The property is run down. It has clearly had better days. I found that my expedia reservation was more expensive than the walk in price. There was a promised breakfast which I had to talk to and show my Expedia reservation (which stated breakfast) multiple staffmembers to receive. The breakfast was usually an egg salad sandwich (which I can't stand), dry muffin and small fruit juice box. One day, it was just two slices of dry bread and some butter and jam. The property was in a busy location with alot of traffice on Idylwild Dr. and noisy. I chose the location because of its proximity to downtown and the U. of Saskatchewan but as the University bridge was totally closed for construction the location wasn't helpful in this instance.

This whole experience was the worse. First the hotel I had booked said I booked the wrong date and they were sold out. There were no rooms anywhere except for this one and Motel 8. I picked this one because of the rating. OMG beyond HORRIBLE! First they asked me to pay again because he was new and couldn't find my reservation after being in line for 30 minutes, I then waited another hour to contact hotels .com to contact them and walk them thru it. It was so dirty, slept in my clothes. Shower was filthy and toilet ..... Fights outside my door and police all night. Just a really bad experience. The gentleman did take me to the airport 5 hours later, for free which I thought it was already, no sleep.

Filthy sheets, clearly not laundered, sink and shower also disgustingly dirty. Checked out immediately (did not stay the night), staff told us we could get a refund through Expedia but 5 days later they have still not responded to Expedia’s emails and phone calls, so we are out CAD 144. DO NOT STAY HERE, AVOID!

It said buffet breakfast, but the only breakfast ed an egg salad sandwich, banana muffin, and juice box. There were no black out curtains in our room. Anyone walking by could see in through the shear curtains plus the light outside the window kept waking me up. There was no bathtub, just a shower. No counter in the bathroom to put stuff on. Only 1 towel set for 2 people The air conditioner didn't work properly. There was no asking for another room as they said they were sold out. Will not be staying there again and would not recommend.

Homeless people sleeping on the stairs having us carry our luggage from the far side of the building to our room across the upstairs of the accommodations. No bar, no restaurant and no breakfast. Air conditioning was not working as the room was at roughly 25 degrees at all times. Wifi was weak and thus did not allow the tv to work as it was only a Roku TV. No toilet paper and having to go to the front desk and ask for it. Genuinely feared for our lives staying here this weekend. Wife became rather ill after leaving, don’t imagine we will ever return

As soon as I walked into the office… I wanted a refund. But it was non refundable. Disgusting mess at all corners of every room and hallway. Photos of the motel on Expedia were staged!! Nightmare!

This motel is a definite "Stay Away From" property. The good rating shown is likely from what looks like fake reviews from October 2025. There is no way that anyone who has actually stayed there would say anything positive about this place. The pictures shown are definitely not pictures of this property. The reception area (you can hardly call it that being in a dirty back room), the rooms and the whole area is filthy and so much more than run down. There was no breakfast included and I didn't see the 4 restaurants/coffee shops that they say are there. The area it is located in is also very sketchy with people around yelling and just hanging around the front entrance. We had booked for 3 nights but stayed just one...ONLY because it was midnight and we could not find another place to stay that night. We definitely did not feel safe being there. I am surprised that this place is listed as a place to stay on Expedia. Do not book here!

The reception room was so dirty and in so need of repair. Looked like they might be trying to do some renovation as the reception seems to be in a modified guest room.

The place was a complete dump. Shower was useless. There hasn’t been any maintenance done in this place in years. This is a place where even homeless people would think they could do better.

Never even made it to the room, left to find another hotel and they would not refund the stay. Terrible and rude staff to deal with would not recommend staying there. Should be condemned.

This was one of the most ghetto places I have walked into. The office area was so dirty and falling apart, AC cages were kicked in an damaged, just overall not an inviting place. I asked to look at a room before making the decision if I felt comfortable and safe enough to stay, which after seeing the room I didn’t. There was another couple who also came in thinking the same thing as me and made the same decision to leave because this place is NOT the same as the photos, dirty, unsafe and just nasty. They have refused to refund me after not staying there due to me not feeling safe as a single female. PLEASE AVIOD THIS PLACE

The place was within a walking distance to downtown Saskatoon and there was a convenience store, a restaurant and a coffee shop close by. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable.

There was no breakfast offered and there definitely was not a room like the one in this picture that you provided. Thankfully the heat worked. We were given the wrong room twice. We checked in after 4pm and when we went to the room, it had not been cleaned and the bed did not have clean sheets nor was it made. Around 1am, we were woke up by another person who they gave the room to. Scared the crap out of us.

Run down poor location

Moved rooms twice because of renovation noise and was downgraded rooms where I was woken up every morning (7am and 3am) to car alarms going off and when I alerted the front desk they came to my room to check on me instead of dealing with the disturbances-do not recommend if you want to actually sleep

Hotel is very run down and dirty. They swap the sheets (not necessarily with clean ones) and sweep the floor in between guests. I don't think the floors have every been properly cleaned. Everything was slightly sticky. The "buffet breakfast" does not exist. They do not even have space to set one up if they intended to. I have included a photo of what they provided in lieu of a buffet. Do not book this hotel. The pipes were clanging all night. The curtain was so thin I literally made eye contact with an in-housed fellow who was watching me through the window. The door did not latch. Had to push hard and deadbolt it, lest the wind open it. Cigarette burns on nearly every surface despite being advertised as "non-smoking". Again, DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.
