My stay was ok. The room was clean and a decent size, and the staff were nice and helpful. If you don't mine walking, it's a pleasant stroll (maybe 20 mins + to Templebar).
Two key criticisms:
- Guests aren't allowed to let themselves into the property. Staff sit at reception 24 hours and you have to leave your room key with them whenever you leave, and ring a doorbell to be let in. Feels a bit like staying with your parents. This is apparently for 'security' reasons; i.e., the area around the property is a bit dodgy.
- There's no parking available. Staff suggested parking in the nearby hospital car park, which isn't terribly convenient (or cheap).
