MACAM is a modern hotel inside of an art museum built in an old palace. Everything was amazing, the service, hospitality, breakfast, cleanliness, and art everywhere! And free entry to the museum! Would definitely recommend! It’s also convenient for access to the Congress Center

Newer beautiful hotel that is spacious, with art installations around every corner, generous amenities, and wonderful breakfast with buffet and ready-made hot options. Staff solicitous and friendly and location so convenient to the conference centre, but also easy walk to the river and nearby monuments. Lovely library and common spaces including the honour bar, just wish I had more time at the hotel to explore the complimentary adjacent galleries and courtyard! Something to look forward to for next time..

Everything here is of the highest quality and standard. The staff in all departments are superb, making you feel welcome and ensuring your absolute comfort. It is not just a hotel it is also an art gallery, which simply increases your stay to an enriched experience. This was my second visit and I hope to return again.

My wife and I had a very pleasant stay at the Macam. The staff was helpful and very accomodating. A special feature was the impressive art on display. Would highly recommend and we hope to return one day. Great!

Just wow!

As a first-time visitor to Lisbon, my stay at the MACA Hotel was overall a very good experience. The hotel has a unique and interesting concept, combining a hotel with a museum, which makes it stand out. I didn’t get the chance to visit the museum, but the shared entrance was impressive. I booked a one-bedroom unit, which turned out to be very convenient since the hotel is just a 2–3 minute walk from the convention center. The hotel itself is beautifully built, with lovely gardens and an amazing library space that I found perfect for working. The team was friendly and accommodating, though there are areas where service training could be improved. Early check-in wasn’t possible, and at one point the cleaning crew mistakenly thought my room was empty and were talking very loudly in the corridor, which was disruptive. Upon arrival, there was also no explanation about breakfast,where it was located or what time it was served,which would have been helpful for new guests. The hotel is not located near Lisbon’s old town, so you do feel more in a commercial district. To reach the city’s main attractions, you’ll need to take transportation. That said, if your focus is the convention center, the location is excellent. Overall, the hotel has a lot of charm and a unique atmosphere, and you can tell the team is trying to do their best. With some additional staff training to improve communication with guests, this could easily become a five-star experience.

The MACAM is a great new hotel. Everything is first class. Get this one while it’s still affordable.

The willingness of the staff go above and beyond to provide exceptional service. They are very welcoming and eager to give 5 stars services in every department. I will be going back and stay there every time I visit Portugal. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely stay at MACAM Hotel . Particularly impressed with cleanness all throughout our stay. The room was refreshed everyday, it was a pleasure to return to the room. Spacious room, modern, new and clean! Not less important , this is a very quiet place! The noise of the street was completely cancelled once we closed the windows. Staff was extremely pleasant, personable , and interested to accommodate their guests. This is a new hotel and wish the guests will help keep it in this shape for a long time! A very pleasant hotel with clean and fresh rooms, as well as a good breakfast. The staff were friendly and service-minded, and I truly enjoyed my stay. They consistently went the extra mile to make sure I felt comfortable. The hotel is calm and relaxing, with a lovely rooftop terrace featuring a plunge pool. Unfortunately, the bar on the terrace was not yet open, which was a bit disappointing, although it was still possible to order from the restaurant. The gym was the only thing I was somewhat disappointed with, but otherwise everything was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
