Property is on the South side of Royal Victoria Dock. It should be a ten minute walk to Custom House Elizabeth Line / DLR station but no. To get there you have to use the RVD Footbridge which has broken lifts, 8 flights of stairs up, 8 flights down. If you want to just walk with luggage - don't. The property is OK, a little tired, kitchen is OK but only one pan. Main bedroom bed is too big for the room so when you get out of bed you will hit your feet or shins on the corner of the bed. Second bedroom is tiny, a small single bed. Bathroom is OK, shower curtain is not fitted correctly you either have it outside the bath (bad idea) or shower with it sticking to you. The agents let the owner store their food in the fridge while guests are using the apartment. This is a terrible food hygiene practice. What's in the owners food? How long it's been there? I have to store my own food in the the same fridge. The freezer was frozen solid unusable. So someone came round to sit on the floor for 2 hours, 30 minutes to unfreeze using a hairdryer - I couldn't use the kitchen and it was too noisy to work. Eventually I asked help desk to ask her to leave which she did. There is one TV and it is tiny - computer monitor size, it's lopsided on it's mount. Finally when I arrived (on time) the person bringing the keys was 55 minutes late. So I had to standaround outside waiting for them. Not great.
