Review:
I recently stayed at the Fort George while four months pregnant. Upon arrival, I wore a gray two-piece lounge set and requested in advance if the hotel could do my laundry. I was told that laundry typically takes 24 hours but they would try. My laundry was taken the same day, which was appreciated, and I was able to enjoy lunch while my items were being handled.
However, the next day, just before my early departure due to a canceled flight, I discovered that my gray pants had been damaged. When I addressed this with staff, they claimed that the damage was pre-existing and that I had arrived at the hotel wearing the pants in that condition. This was not only inaccurate, but also insulting. I offered for them to review footage to confirm that I would never arrive in damaged clothing, but my concerns have not been acknowledged.
While the hotel itself was clean and well-maintained, the lack of communication, follow-up, and accountability from staff was extremely disappointing. I have emailed multiple contacts and received no response. Due to this experience, I am requesting a full refund. If necessary, I will consider legal action or escalate via social media.
