This is a nicer take on this type of hostel than I've experienced in other cities. This is exactly what is advertised - it is very minimalist, and for what it is, I think it's pretty well run. I stayed on a busy weekend and some noise does make it through the capsule but overall this felt like a good value, well-maintained and secure.

Great place to stay for late arrival and early departure. Place is clean and kinda silent, and the staff is very friendly.

The room I stayed in was very unclean & I felt unsafe.

I was very unhappy that they refused to refund me my deposit of $100. I asked repeatedly but nothing. I would NOT recommend staying/ booking with them as they have proven to be dishonest & untrustworthy.

it was terrible 3 showers for over 40 people and on top of that, they were dirty as hell and i tried to let them know and they told me that i needed to contact expedia. I don’t get it?!?

Staff amazing. Capsule mattress not great. Capsule door would not open properly most of the time, and was loud, not fun. Very poor air flow in the space, fans? Gets hot in there. Bathroom areas were fine, not sparkling (impossible in a hostel)showers and toilets worked well. If you want a spot to just sleep and refresh to save $ and spend it elsewhere, this is the place to do it.

The staff were very helpful and friendly despite the amount of traffic that comes in and out. Pods were clean and surprisingly comfortable, the only downside was amount of showers and bathrooms and cleanliness of them but you get what you pay for! Overall 7/10

My stay at this hotel was one of the worst experiences of my life. The hotel lacks basic facilities and proper guest service. Cleanliness was extremely poor, and the staff did not provide adequate assistance or room service when needed. Unfortunately, this was the worst part of my Montreal trip. The overall experience was very disappointing, and I do not feel that the hotel offers value for money. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and would not choose to stay here again.

During my stay at Capsule Hotel, I encountered some serious issues. Upon check-in, I was assigned a capsule, only to discover that it had not been cleaned or prepared after the previous guest's departure. The bed was unmade and the capsule appeared to have been used. After showing a photo of the situation to the front desk attendant, he immediately apologized and reassigned me to a new capsule. While this was inconvenient, the matter was handled promptly and I considered it resolved. The following day, however, a much more serious issue occurred. After leaving my belongings in my capsule and my suitcase in storage while I spent the day out, I returned in the evening and used my key card to enter the capsule, only to find another guest resting inside. The situation was extremely embarrassing and concerning, particularly when I realized all of my belongings were gone and that a stranger had apparently been given access to my capsule and possessions. After speaking with the front desk and a supervisor, my belongings were eventually recovered and I was reassigned to my original capsule (the one that was unmade upon check-in). While nothing appears to have been stolen, this incident represented a significant breach of privacy and security for both myself and the other guest. Despite being told that a manager would discuss the matter with me before checkout, no follow-up occurred and I have yet to receive any response.

My girlfriend and I had an excellent stay at Capsule Hotel in Montreal. Everything was clean, including the showers, and the atmosphere was friendly, social, and welcoming. The location on Saint Laurent Boulevard is impeccable and made it easy to enjoy the city. The staff were amazing and provided great service throughout our stay. I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again whenever I'm in Montreal.

A couple things were broken, but overall a good experience.

Location wise it’s in the downtown area and short walk to a metro line. And a decent walk to Old Montreal, place des arts and the old port. But the surrounding area looks sketchy, so it can feel uncomfortable at night. The capsules themselves are very nice, and the lockers are spacious enough for all baggage’s.

Great place to stay for a couple of days! Only thing I didn’t appreciate was no AC in the individual units. Had a hard time sleeping because it was quite toasty
