Great location. Cute room (one bedroom suite). We had a big issue with the smell in the room. It was horrible! The room is located on top of McDonalds and a fried chicken place. We tried open windows, closed windows, the smells were always there I told them about this. They gave us a bottle of Febreeze. I don't to breathe in chemicals. I had finished chemo the month before ( I told them this). I vomited every day because the smell was sickening.

This is a great choice in Montreal. Located in a funky area with lots of good dining and shops, the suite I had was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. Two minor points were the excessive number of messages from the host, each of which required going to a website rather than just receiving the message, and not having hot water in the shower in the morning.

Beautiful studio apartment in a great location. A wonderful stay and a favorite place I would definitely return to.

It was in a convenient area. Only difficulty was finding parking nearby. Noisy at night.

Apartment is at a central location and is very convenient to get to various attractions in Montreal using Metro and bus. We didn’t have to use our car during the stay. It’s a little bit of a struggle to unload luggage from car and have to carry them up the stairs, there are no elevators. You will have to also figure out parking situation in advance, we use clicknpark for eg.,

La chambre est très bien située dans Montréal, à seulement quelques minutes de marche d'une station de metro et à la jonction de deux importantes artères commerciales. Plusieurs restaurants à proximité. La chambre est exactement telle qu'elle apparaissait et telle que décrite sur le site web. L'endroit était relativement peu bruyant considérant sa localisation. J'y retournerais.

The property has an over, microwave, dishwasher and a full fridge, which is rare to find at this price. The host responded to my messages promptly. The only issue I found was that there is little noise insulation, so the noise could comes in from outside and the hallway. But overall, excellent value for the money and well designed property in and out.

Check in information was sent just 2 hours before the 4pm, which is the allowed check-in time. Since I'm driving from NYC to Montreal, I wasn't able to check the check-in information until that was emailed to me until I arrive at 7:00pm. After we checked in, we went out for dinner. We didn't return check anything within the unit until late that night. We found a broken wine glass in the cabinet. Then after shower, found the hair dryer cover also broken. Both were communicated to the host right after we find the broken item.

Perfect for a family of four on spring break. The location is amazing and near so many good places to eat and shop. It’s a block away from the metro that easily took us to explore different neighborhoods and also to the Via Rail Canada station in about 20 min in a straight shot. Super easy to check in and out and text with the host for questions. The building (and the whole city) felt safe as well. Looking forward to returning and recommending to others.

Location,Location,location. 2 blocks away is the Metro. 3 blocks aways was the best All day food spot L,Avenue . I parked my car for the 3 day stay and didn’t move it once. Everything was walking distance. See you guys soon !

Incredibly clean, perfect location, easy check in and out!

There was a mouldly baby bottle stuck in the pullout couch. In the main room there was no lamp, only unpleasant overhead lighting. I asked the cleaning lady for a lamp and she found one in a storage closet in the hallway. Very nice of her. The day I arrived it seemed there was too much work for the one cleaning lady to do, turning over all the rooms. Great location, but a soulless place. I wouldn't stay there again.

We had a few small issues that the Mont Royal Suites addressed quickly. The accommodations were comfortable. The only reason I gave 4 not 5 is because the noise outside was constant throughout the night. Unfortunately even voices from people walking outside carried indoors.

It was clean, great communication with easy instructions to easily access the property. The pillows were super comfortable and the mattress as well.

The apartment was situated in a fantastic area near shops and restaurants and bakeries and a short walk to the subway station. We really enjoyed exploring Montreal from this home base. The apartment itself was not quite as pictured. It was missing some of the cozier features like a rug in the livingroom. Some of the floorboards are separating so it was nice to have a thick pair of slippers. The linens and towels were fresh and clean but the cupboards had sticky fingerprints, the bathtub edges were mildewy and the floor was obviously cleaned without picking up any of the items and getting to the edges (a crusty rim on the floor where the toilet plunger and brush sat). On arrival, the dishwasher was full of clean dishes that I needed to put away. (not the worst thing but unexpected for this level of accommodation.) The sounds from the upstairs hotel room walking around all night long (??) kept us up at night as the movement of the floor above which was loud in itself caused something in our apartment to rattle loudly (the mirrored closet doors perhaps?) Overall we enjoyed Montreal but the cleanliness of this property was below standard

Clean unit. Awesome location. The accommodation was perfectly adequate but be prepared for party noise well into the early morning hours from across and down the street.
