The Fox Hotel and Suites

Upon arrival, we were not told that tomorrow the water would not be running also my food voucher he didn’t tell me that oh it needs to be used at the time that I didn’t have time to use it the next day, even when I was requesting a late check out they were telling me oh I need to speak to somebody in the morning like just rude even just now when I went to check out, the guy was rude about my voucher and more less said oh well and then took it back for me There was no water OK they said there will be no hot water. I found it out the next day, but there wasn’t even cold water to bath or brush my teeth or anything.

Our family had a spacious, clean suite with large, private bedrooms. Hotel has a beautiful structure and aesthetic. Staff dealt with issues instantly. Near the shops and restaurants of Banff town. Ideal place for a family ski trip.

The hotpools were great. Chili's food was Awesome. The staff are great. The room was old and small that we had. But we still had a good weekend.

No amenities or A/C, hot tub is amazing though

Very comfortable stay

Very nice staff but the rooms itself was so loud. There are adjoining doors and the sound goes right through like you’re standing in the same room. So very little sleep. The cave and basin style hot tub was also smaller than I thought and super crowded. One person walking by remarked that it looked like a perpetual stew. The external stairs have some loose steps and are molding/rusting out. For the price you could stay somewhere nicer.

Hot pool was the highlight as our kids loved it. There were enough pool towels and the shower room and washrooms were clean and tidy. The doubles room we were in was small and basic although it served its purpose. The room and building was pet friendly. The room heater had a small sign that read that it can get hot and to make sure it is free of clutter. It could be bigger though as it is a safety hazard.

I was drawn in from the pictures of the place and especially the pool/hot tub area, the fact that it was dog-friendly. Arrival and room: check in was easy and staff was friendly. Our room was small and tight, it was hard to get around each other and find places to access all our luggage. A mini fridge was missed, would have been nice to keep our drinks cold and a place to put leftovers. The tub had a big rust stain covered by a bath mat and there was a hair. We could not get the thermostat to work and had no control over the temperature in the room. The front desk staff did supply a plug-in heater when asked. I would have to say it was the most uncomfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in and unfortunately did not sleep well both nights. There's a sheet and a blanket almost just as thin as the sheet, it's tucked in so tight around the bed that you can't even pull the blanket and sheet to your shoulders. I'd recommend bringing your own heavy/warm blanket There is no free breakfast. Chilis is open for breakfast, and it wasn't very good quality for being priced minimum $18 a plate with no kids plate options. I honestly didn't feel well after eating (I'm sensitive to things cooked in low quality oils) and it was a pretty big added expense. All the interaction with staff from the hotel and chilis was a great experience. the cleaning staff set my daughters Barbies up cutely when we arrived back to our room. Overall, I wouldn't come back but the pool was unique and great

The room was clean and organized well, staff were very nice and helpful however there is not that much privacy and you can hear the other rooms, A couple things were already broken once we got to the place too, the hot tub was really nice tho.

Nice hotel in a good location. Our room was large but the bathroom was very compact. Toilet made a noise all the time. Not sure if there was a problem or that’s just Canadian toilets

Clean room , amazing staff and the restaurant was also amazing with great service

Enjoyed our room. It was bit small and walls are thin you hear everything people are doing in the room attached to you. Hottub was very nice and relaxing. Wish there was small fridges in room. Underground parkade is small and difficult to park in.

Chilis and a hot tub grotto, what more could you ask for?!

Everything was excellent

Easy check in and check out. Easy access to room via stairs or elevator. Nice location. Close to playground and restaurants. Enjoyed the free wifi. We enjoyed the hot tub grotto. Wish there was a breakfast deal at the hotel.
