The most friendly and excellent service local hotel that I ever stay. I love all, i.e., the ambiance, the rooms, the facilities, the foods, and services. During my short visit to Semarang, I was pleased to choose the Rez Hotel. The location is excellent; it is just a short walk from the city's iconic landmark, Simpang Lima, and the hotel is surrounded by enticing local food stalls, especially during the evening. The building of Rez Hotel features a minimalist-industrial modern design, but don't let that mislead you. The hotel offers all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The staff are not only friendly but also helpful. I can't wait to stay here again on my next visit to Semarang.

For its price range, I can confidently recommend this particular hotel especially for solo travelers on a budget. I stayed in a standard single bed room and even with a breakfast, it was still far reasonably cheaper than other similar hotel rooms without a breakfast option and the breakfast was even a buffet style! The room that I stayed in may not look brand new but it was clean and comfortable. The AC was cool and working well while the hot water in the shower worked as intended.
While I have not gotten a chance to fully experience the other facilities yet, I was still impressed with other offers such as laundry service and spa. From the hotel, you could easily walk to Paragon Mall too!
