We booked 2 nights in the Japanese Room, which includes breakfast and dinner. I would recommend this because you can't go anywhere, especially if you don't have a car. It was magical, snowing the next morning, and we did a small walk from the hotel. We saw some deer and a small waterfall. If you love nature, this is the place. The shuttle is really helpful from Asahikawa Station and return for free. Make sure you email the hotel about your schedule, because there is only 1 pick up per day.
