Holiday Inn Express LISBON - OEIRAS by IHG, an IHG Hotel

I was a bit surprised on how tough the mattresses and pillows were, and this caused discomfort and made us wake up during the night. Not having a mini fridge in the rooms was hard as to keep any drinks or medications cool. They had an ice machine, but it barely produced any ice at all. Although the building and grounds are well kept, there are obvious signs that the place is a bit old and in need of upgrades. The breakfast was good and well stocked with quality food and drinks. Some of the front desk employees felt cold and not enthusiastic of being there, so my first impression upon arrival was not very impressive or optimistic about the employees.

Staff are nice. There's a grocery across from the hotel. The breakfast included was great! Lots of choices.

The location was good and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast each morning had a tremendous variety of items, all of which were very good. The house keepers did a nice job, but frequently failed to leave adequate supplies such as wash cloths, toilet tissue and instant coffee. Six or seven times I had to go to the front desk to retrieve supplies.

Good location if visiting Cascais 12-15 minutes, Lisbon 15-20 minutes and beaches in Oeiras 10 minutes. Not much in area to walk to but Bolt & Uber were helpful. Breakfast was good with pastries, pancakes, fruit, and eggs. My wife is lactose and only had soy day 1. Next few days there was lactose free milk for her to use. Room as air but not has high as we are usevto in the US but if keep window cracked with AC we were conformable. Overall enjoyed our experience. No thrills but clean and good spot for our few days.

The property is decent, reasonably clean and overall for a business person on an overnight stay before a flight would be ok. Not for a family in my opinion, rooms are small and getting tired with age. Overall not too bad for a quick stop before moving onto your next destination. Breakfast was good.

Property needs serious renovation

Very outdated property with dirty looking carpets. Free parking is a plus. Buffet breakfast is good with many options to choose from. Air conditioning didn’t work all night. There was a sound but the air conditioner didn’t actually seem to work.

The only issue i have was the glass wall in bathroom, its bit awkward and the glass wall faces the toilet. Who was the wise guy that made this choice. .?
