Furama RiverFront

The main issue we faced was the shower and sink water supply on our first night. We couldn’t shower or even wash hands as the water was super hot. Even after the staff tried to fix it, it still took a long time before we got to have some decent shower water temperature. Otherwise, it was pretty alright.

Ok space, but onsite coffee options both in the lobby and at breakfast were disappointing. None in the rooms. Lobby always felt packed and noisy to me from being right next to an open air event space. The rooms were so hot and humid unless I had the AC on high blast, which led to me then feeling a constant headache from having the cold air blowing right at my head. I never dared open the windows in case the sun baked the room even hotter. The rooms were also very small considering their price, mine was a studio queen and I couldn't even straighten my arms horizontally across the room. Barely any space for luggage, though thankfully the bed was raised so I could slide it under there, but not an optimal solution. Overall, livable, but not comfortable.

Staff were excellent.. very helpful and friendly. Bustop close by. Room quite big but a bit dated and nice and clean. Big swimming pool, spa not really a spa just a few bubbles. But overall a good place to stay at a middle range hotel.

Clean hotel

My flight was cancel twice when we go and cancel once when we come and we missed our baby birthday on 25th and we waste our money on accommodation for the first and second day

We were notify that there would not be room service since our stay was 3 nights. For amenities that were self service on each floor wasn't available - such as towels. The photos of hotel room gave impression of the hotel being modern (black/white decor/sleek looking). Our room was dark (maybe since we had a small window that we took since we wanted an early check-in), furnishing in brown wood color and carpets were darker (didn't feel clean), chairs had the mended area on them, tv didn't work very well. Hairdryer setting was way too hot . It wasn't clear that we needed a outlet adapter, but was provided with one. The USB port didn't work very well. No USB port on night stand nor was there a clock in the room. The room a small step down to the bed area and another small step into the bathroom. Not a good thing in the middle of the night when you want to use the bathroom Step up to the entry where the bathroom is and another step into the bathroom itself. Hard to test the temperature of the shower when you need to step into the shower to turn on. The outside of hotel was very modern and sleek but our room didn't reflect the same image. Not sure I would return again.

Super friendly hotel

Nice clean and comfortable hotel in Robertson Quay. Walking distance to Ckarke Quay and beyond. We had a club room which was an awesome way to spend the evenings in with canapes and drinks

The room was clean and comfortable, the people at check in and sherif provided a great service.

Healthy breakfast

Lift service was so inadequate. 3/4 lifts operating and at busy times took over 20 minutes to stop at our floor.

Disappointed with the check in and staff. Staff did not give me any I formation aside from a key. I had to continually ask the front desk about breakfast, the pool, and when I asked if they had any restaurant recommendations they said no. It’s like they are trained to deny service. However, the room was clean, I would have liked double pillow cases since the pillows pop out and were dirty.

I had a pleasant stay at Furama RiverFront Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and professional, and the location was convenient. Overall, the experience was positive and I appreciated the value the hotel offers. However, I feel the elevator situation needs urgent attention. During my stay, one of the elevators was out of service, which caused delays during busy periods. I also heard from other guests that this issue has been ongoing for nearly two years. If that’s true, it’s quite concerning for a hotel of this standard. Regular maintenance and prompt repairs should be a priority to ensure guest comfort and safety. Aside from that, everything else met or exceeded expectations. I would consider staying again, especially if the elevator issue is resolved. The hotel has great potential, and addressing this long-standing problem would make a big difference in the guest experience.

The Furuma hotel needs updating. The photo on Expedia does not match the hotel rooms. We arrived and were given two single beds. We moved to another room and the whole floor was full of screaming children. NOT much of a sleep in when kids and mothers are screaming. the breakfast was very crowded and the same menu every day. The buffet breakfast area was not very clean either. A disappointing stay, we changed areas to see something new, instead we should have stayed at Orchard road. Orchard road never disappoints and is cleaner.

Wonderful views right on the beach. Children’s play park walking distance. Shopping and restaurants walking distance. Cleanliness of apartment good wash washer and dryer. Nice kitchen and balcony. Highly recommended for stay and a very good price.

Outdated. Bathroom leaked.

The Room was Dirty! I always Clean with Lysol wipes wherever I go! Very Dirty and Smelled of Urine in Closet. Food and Room Service was the Worst! Different menus for code to scan in room and website. Called operator to connect, she tells me someone will call me back! Never Did!
