Depending on which room you get, you might have to walk a long hallway on floor 1. There is no elevator in the middle, just on one side. It is only two storey though. I am not too fond of the layout of having bath and toilet with vanity with sink but it is better than having all separate. Not many hooks to hang also. It does have ample USB for charging and pillows and beds are comfortable with turndown service 1st night, chocolate on your pillow when you come back. We stayed an extra night and was given an upgrade but not too much difference between station and river view, because there’s construction around the are right now. But we appreciate the upgrade. Walk to the city center was good, you can explore much and it gets lively at night as there were performers and a stage by the water ( not sure if performances are usually on a Friday ? ) and lots of places to eat. Staff was friendly, they transferred our luggage between the rooms for us while we went out to explore. Have good buffet breakfast.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel, as well as in Porto. No complaints whatsoever. The hotel is situated in a nice clean area. Nearest shopping area with a nice mall, including a large supermarket is about five minutes walk away. River douro is about twenty minutes walk away. The hotel is very clean and staff attentive. The drinks and food in the bar were very good and inexpensive. There's also a formal restaurant on lower floor which I never visited. If I return to Porto I will most certainly choose the same hotel or one of its other branches. 10/10.

Good service

We originally booked into HF Porto and when we arrived we realised a mistake and we asked would it be possible to move to Ipanema Park 5 mins up the road. The hotel told us yes they would org a refund once we paid in full in the other hotel. Taking them at good faith they would do this we moved and paid in full again their second hotel. One month later and they are still saying they did not say that and that we choose to pay both hotels 5 mins apart for the same dates. AVOID At all costs

Property was clean and modern. Staff were helpful and breakfast was good.

This was very far from the main area. Just be aware that it is a minimum 30 min walk. We travelled with children older parents who had difficulty and we needed to uber between areas.

not sot good: I asked for an invoice, but a grumpy lady behind he counter refused allegedly because my reservation was made through hotels.com. First time this has ever happened. I decided not to challenge, as given the face of that receptionist, it would have been like talking to a brick wall. Room has the usual message to save water etc. I hung up my towels every day, yet every day my towels were changed. Why have that message in the room, if you're going to change towels anyway. Good: Check-in was smooth with a very kind receptionist. Room was super clean. very conveniently located for the prupose of my visit.

Customer service and cleanliness excellent.

We really enjoyed our stay. We had a quadruple room with so much space, very comfortable and clean. I love that the room was not carpeted. The design is quite modern and sleek. Bathroom was also great complete with all amenities. The staff were very kind, friendly and helpful. There are many dining options nearby, and we especially enjoyed Mercado Bom Succeso in the neighborhood. There's also a pharmacy right next door and a grocery nearby which makes it so convenient. It's in a very nice, quiet neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again. Even if it's not right in the downtown core, it's not far off at all. I love Porto so much I will definitely be back very soon!

The location is convenient to get to central Porto and easy to get to Airport. The hotel facilities and breakfast was great.

A nice clean and well run hotel and good value. Active travellers can walk to main attractions and dining options or it is a short drive. We walked everywhere and it was fine. Rooms were very nice.

Kind, helpful, and friendly staff. Good to have option of breakfast to go, for morning of early check-out and flight out, however somewhat disappointed by the contents given the variety of the actual breakfast buffet.

The hotel itself is not as central as the distance to the centre implies but the location is ok for the price. Service was very indifferent. Upon check in I asked for a double room - had requested that on the booking too - but was given a twin. I asked for it to be changed as I was solo and only one person staying there ! But they flatly refused - awful customer service - they said as I’d booked via a third party they were not going to change the room - this was pretty poor reasoning. The bar is tiny I didn’t spend any time there and the breakfast really not worth the €17 price - very basic - the entrance revolving doors were broken so the entrance and reception were somewhat underwhelming. The room itself was a good size. Good bathroom - the temperature control in the room was ridiculous way too hot during the hot days regardless of what temp I chose so I had to sleep with the windows open on most of the nights. Overall this hotel is okay!
