Beautiful location and hotel Close to beach and local shops / restaurants Friendly staff Cons: Our room was right beside the patio of the restaurant so it was very loud when people were seated there we could hear their entire conversations and we had no privacy just sit out so we just kept the door shut even though it was nice outside and we wanted some fresh air. Also, we noticed that the grout in the shower had orange mould on it so we were not pleased with the condition of the shower. It was obvious because the grout is white and the tile is white so you could see the mould easily on the grout

Reception staff was terrific, most helpful re room, car charging, loan of kettle, etc

Love the ocean view, room size and amenities like terry robes & slippers. We stay here at least twice a year.

Great hotel.No complaints

The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. Our 2nd floor king room was spacious with beautiful view. Outside dining patio great place for happy hour. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and sauna-very clean. One downside the mini bar is stuffed with beverages we did not require. Please leave space for guests to add their own items. Overall had a great stay and would recommend.

checking in was a breeze and got a nice room overlooking the patio and waterfront. a very clean bathroom had all the amenities and a stocked fridge (extra charge beverages) was just under the tv. room needs a kettle, but we are sure one would be available if we asked for one to be brought up to the room.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. The room was well appointed and very comfortable and we had a balcony with a view of the water. The service at QBI is outstanding! You can tell that all Staff are well trained as the customer service experience was exceptional. The restaurant is also wonderful, we ate several breakfasts and a dinner there and loved everything we ate.

The rooms look renovated, however there really is no room to set any of your stuff down in the bathroom as the vanity is to small, it would be nice also to have an extra counter or table to set stuff down in the rest of the room as there is enough room for it in the room

Perfect for a couple of days by the water. Friendly with good amenities, pool, gym, sauna and the view. Have a picnic lunch and then dine in the restaurant.

We submitted a complaint with manager Irina Hansen about our dirty sheets. Upon departure from the hotel we noticed that the sheets were soiled with what appears to be feces. In speaking to the manager, compensation for our stay is to be done by formal request through Expedia. We are requesting refund for our one night stay

We came to Qualicum to visit friends but also for a quick little getaway: what a perfect little gem! From early arrival (they were able to check us in early) to our restful stay, great service from front desk to restaurant and rooms. Everything has been renovated: so clean and inviting and fresh! Most comfortable bathrobes I've ever used (bought one to take home!). Husband loved using the sauna and pool facilities. Excellent location to get into town, our friends' place, the beach. Two nights was not enough. Looking forward to a repeat soon.

A very relaxed vibe, great pool, great restaurant and deck (espeically for breakfast), and well curated hotel design.

The property is cosmetically renovated however they should have upgraded things such as putting in usb wall chargers and placing electrical outlets in better accessible areas. They rank poorly with bed...it was terribly soft and well worn ; my husband and i woke up with back pain daily due to sinking and had poor sleep due to obvious mattress issue. Lastly the lack of spacious parking on the property is poor...we drive a pick up truck and found it difficult to park in the parking lot at the property as their spots are made for smaller cars and not larger vehicles ..we witnessed many trucks turn into the parking lot and leave to have to park not on the property....which required more walking with luggage and such. The staff at the restaurant, housekeeping and front desk were friendly. Due to the mattress conditions...we would not recommend this property.

The Inn is a welcomed surprise as it punches well above its weight in terms of comfort and well appointed rooms. It’s now on our radar for our next travels.

Qualicum Beach Inn gets 5 Stars on customer service alone. Great friendly, helpful, and accommodating staff. The rooms are spacious. The facilities are excellent. The location is excellent - right across from the beach. Highly recommend.
