The hotel is easily accessible from the airport, as the Lavender MRT station is directly below.
The check-in process was quick and easy, requiring only a passport and proof of reservation. No deposit was required. The staff were friendly, speaking both Malay and English, making it very convenient for Indonesians like me. The porter readily helped carry our luggage to our room.
However, the lobby waiting area was limited, so some guests had to stand during check-in.
The hotel rooms aren't particularly spacious, but they are adequate. The amenities are adequate for the number of guests. The rooms and toilets are clean. The electrical outlets are standard, as in Indonesia, with more than one plug, and some even have a Type A socket. Our triple room, on the 12th floor, no. 16, had a view of the ICA building. Drinking water is provided with a water filter and heater, and the water source is tap-based, so drinking water is unlimited. There's also a water tap on the 4th floor near the restaurant where you can refill your water bottles. For us Indonesians, there's no need to worry about the toilet, as there's a bidet. For Muslims, I didn't see a Qibla marker in my room, but that's not a problem. You can use an online Qibla compass. Google it, and there are plenty.
The hotel staff was very helpful when I needed scissors, and they lent them. The room was tidied up as requested (don't forget to press the "Make Room" button).
There's a swimming pool and gym on the 4th floor, but we can't comment further because we didn't try them. The breakfast restaurant is also on the 4th floor. In my opinion, the food selection isn't extensive, just enough to satisfy your hunger before your activities.
The hotel is close to several places we need, such as coffee shops, supermarkets, money changers, and more. A recommended halal food spot near the hotel is "Haus Ban Mian," located in the KOUFU area. It offers a wide selection of food and is reasonably priced. A recommended coffee shop near the hotel called "Luckin Coffee" is a must-try for its delicious coffee. The "FairPrice" supermarket, like any supermarket, has everything you need, from groceries to fruits, vegetables, and protein. They even sell some Singaporean souvenirs, too.
Checkout was easy and fast, and the hotel porter was quick to help carry our luggage to the car.
Overall, our stay here was enjoyable. Be Always Better. Thank you.
If we go back to Singapore, we'll definitely stay here again.
