Great hotel, excellent service, premium location. The restaurant offers a wide variety of food, and it's delicious. However, perhaps there should be a free entry into the Ancol area for guests staying at the hotel, or perhaps this already exists? I don't know. Perhaps it needs to be communicated to guests, or automatically granted via an app or something. 10/10 I would stay at Discovery again.

The security, reception, and housekeeping staff were quite friendly. However, at breakfast, the team seemed to need more training. I simply asked for two boiled eggs for my child, and the staff said, "No boiled eggs, sir." Huh? In my entire life staying in hotels ranging from 2-star to 5-star, every time I asked for boiled eggs, they never came, they always said, "Yes, sir, please wait." Then, I immediately tried asking another staff member, "Yes, sir, please wait," and voila... 10 minutes later, the warm boiled eggs arrived. Strange. I got room 258, but the window hit the wall. I complained, but the room was full. Even though this is part of the same family as Hotel Borobudur, honestly, it still feels like "family" at Hotel Borobudur, like a regular guest.

I was a bit disappointed because I got a room with no view at all (no window). The shampoo was also empty and not refilled. At night, around 10:00 PM, the noise from downstairs was very clearly audible in the room. So overall, my family and I were not comfortable staying at this hotel :(

The location is the best if you want to go to Dufan because it’s walking distance. There is a mini waterpark in the swimming pool and the swimming pool is big. Kids' facilities are great. There is some kind of food court and like a cafe, connected to the swimming pool area that sells some foods and drinks that are affordable for that kind of place. Nice staycation!

This hotel is located within the Ancol area. So, to enter, you have to pay an entrance fee. I confirmed with the Ancol entrance staff that I was a Discovery Hotel guest, but they remained adamant. Then, the hotel confirmed this. The entrance fee should not be charged to hotel guests. In my opinion, it's a huge disadvantage for guests.
