About AREX Incheon - Seoul Express Train

The Airport Railroad (AREX) Express Train offers the fastest and most convenient transportation between Incheon International Airport and downtown Seoul. With nonstop service, travel time is just 43 to 51 minutes, depending on the terminal. AREX trains feature designated seating, modern amenities, and complimentary onboard WiFi.

Enjoy a relaxing journey in comfortable seats with spacious legroom. Booking a return trip is easy—simply present your e-voucher and scan your QR code to travel from Seoul to the airport!

You can use the AREX ticket within the expiration date regardless of the purchase date.

Korean SIM Card Package:

The SIM card needs to be used on the purchase date. It will be activated after pickup at the counter.

After receiving the SIM card, be sure to use it right away on site, and if you have any problems, please inquire at the counter immediately.

Depending on the phone model, your phone may need to be restarted up to 5 times to connect to internet

Please unlock Country Lock with your carrier before inserting and activating the SIM card. Refunds will not be granted if your phone is not unlocked.

Phones that use prepaid plans can activate SIM card directly. Please ensure your phone is unlocked if your carrier is from Japan, United States, or Canada.

Unless there are serious defects to the SIM card, it cannot be returned once package is opened.

Due to varying frequencies in different countries, your phone may not support LTE. 3G internet can still be used, but no refunds will be granted.

Obtain a 13-digit redemption code after booking.

Make a reservation via AREX's reservation system (via website or app).

Use the 13-digit redemption code to redeem the train ticket.

Print out the train ticket and use the automated ticket machine to scan the QR code on the ticket before boarding (passengers may present the QR code via electronic devices as well).

You need to move from ICN to Seoul Station. And from Seoul Station, you can go anywhere by tube.

The whole redemption process is simple, following the instructions that were posted. The train is spotless clean and arrived on time. Easy to find the lift/elevator to exit the station with my big luggage. I will definitely use this mode of transport for my next trip.

It was pretty easy to find, and the redemption was pretty fast. You just need to find a ticket machine then enter your booking code in the PDF. Then you're all ready to go.

At the ticket swiping gate, there will be machines to buy tickets and exchange vouchers for the day next to it. The operation is also very easy and quick. Just choose the time you want to go and follow the steps like buying a normal ticket. At the payment step, there will be a box to choose to use the voucher and scan the QR code and you're done.
