Then comes the big moment: at around 14,000 ft (4,000 m) – or 14,500 ft (4,300 m) with the PLUS option – you and your instructor will take the leap. Feel the rush of 45 seconds of freefall before your parachute opens, followed by a peaceful canopy ride as you glide back down to the valley floor.
