This touristic spot is named “Batu Cermin” because the walls can reflect sunlight, resembling a mirror. The stalactite and stalagmite also shine splendidly when exposed to light. This cave was first discovered by archaeologist Theodore Verhoven in 1951, who concluded that Flores Island once lay beneath the sea due to the findings of marine fossils on the walls.
