Argyle Hotel Southern Highlands

Property is old, bed was modern clean and comfortable. Ensuite was functional, but in need of maintenance.

Two lady in the reception are very much good , helpful and lovely and kind. They were amazing . Thank you.

Just an overnight travel stay

Clean room but grubby communal areas - staircases and corridors. Place needs a bit of care. Very noisy in room from other guests in corridors etc

Staff and service very prompt and obliging and friendly. Food very good downstairs. Room was basically clean, linen excellent, teacups very dusty.

Great food nice and clean and quiet

This was very much a run down pub with limited facilities eg bistro

It was close to everything the staff were brilliant, the food was great can’t fault the place, the only thing was the spicy tempura prawns could’ve been a bit spicier, but that’s nothing to complain about, love this place and definitely will be back

Good Restaurant

A pretty comfortable little room for an overnight stay.

Good value for a clean comfortable hotel. The wifi was excellent.

Great overnight stay at The Argyle. Friendly welcome from the bartender who checked me in and my room was spotless. The room was really welcoming with chocolates on the pillows and towels rolled like a higher star hotel. Easy parking, good location in Moss Vale close to all amenities. Nice coffee shop across the road serving good coffee and food. Shared bathrooms could use a little renovation love otherwise great value stay

Did not stay, upon arriving at the room found it to be stuffy and smelling of stale smoke, tried to open window for fresh air unfortunately it was in a state of disrepair and unable to stay open, returned the room key to reception and found alternate accommodation

Excellent staff nice rooms and close to function

Great pub atmosphere and good food. Bed was comfortable.

Friendly staff

Clean and tidy room and bathroom. Room 2 Bathroom door inside had no sliding groove, no towel rail in bathroom, No bar fridge despite description that some snacks were available. Very helpful staff when as elderly people we needed help with luggage too and fro the hotel.

Feed back from worker was that the air-condition was in the window which meant that it rattled when it was on. He was forced to put a bit of cardboard in between the two to help reduce the sound so he could sleep.

It was a quaint little hotel above a neighborhood pub. The linens were clean and white. The heat was very effective. There were adequate bathrooms available. Though they were shared with all the rooms. There was no elevator. The windows were a little drafty. Breakfast was not included and dinner was not available until 5pm. The staff were friendly and helpful however.

The Argyle is a little tired as were we after driving from Melbourne so it was fit fir purpose just!!!
