Mantra Amphora Palm Cove

Lovely place the only thing was the room we had have a lot of steps to go up and down 3 times to get to the room. Was getting difficult for my elderly mother. But a beautiful location and great room

Palm cove....Beautiful. Hotel pretty good.Clean,great pool and grounds.Plenty food options, all within easy walking distance. Minor faults:Bathroom has glass bricks that allows light in the adjacent stairwell to not only light up the bathroom all night but also can be seen in the bedroom. Spa bath had 2 jets not working. Only minor issues.... Otherwise worth the money and recommend highly.

The hotel is nice, BUT there is no elevator/lift so if your room is on floor 3 you are carrying your bags up and down. The resturant adjacent to the the hotel is very, very good but not cheap. The view from the room/balcony was good, noting some room views do not look as great.

We enjoyed our stay in a clean hotel room, with bonus ocean glimpses, an easy walk to Palm Cove's shops, cafes and restaurants, in an overall well-maintained property. I would book here again.

Really stunning room. But why no smart tv functions like netflix / stan / anything! Just satellite tv is so old school these days!!

Having stayed in many Mantra properties, I was really surprised by this one. While Mantra Amphora looks charming from the outside, it’s in serious need of some love and updates. The pool area is spacious and attractive, but the plastic lounge chairs were uncomfortable and had no cushions — you’ll need a few towels just to make it bearable. The room was a letdown. The jacuzzi barely worked, the bathroom fixtures were old, the tap leaked, the toilet seat was loose, and the flush was worn out. The “coffee fridge” area was fine, and the bed, while firm, was still comfortable. The TV wasn’t smart and had limited options — not a big deal for me, but worth noting. The worst part was the noise. I could hear everything — people watching TV next door, toilets flushing above — the walls are paper-thin. On the positive side, the staff were lovely, especially the woman at check-in, and I appreciated being able to use the back bathroom for a good shower before leaving. Sadly, this stay didn’t meet the standard I’ve come to expect from Mantra. With some care and updates, it could be great — but it’s not there yet.

Nice property but far from the city and Reef Terminal in Cairns. Property could recommend closer options for water sports. I ended up renting a car once I realized how far it was from the Cairns Marlin Marina. The property did not have an elevator make sure you can carry you bags the 3 plus flights Palm Cove is quaint. The restaurants in the area walkable from the property.

This is not a regular hotel with amenities, only go here if you're on a tight budget and prefer apartment style with substandard cleaniness No elevators... So lug your luggage to your floor. i would avoid it. Only pro was that it is walking distance to palm cove Beach.

The best staff totally looked after us received an upgrade on arrival stayed on couple extra days easy no hassle beautiful kept grounds stunning lagoon pool and a huge spa never want to leave here highly recommend

Clean, quiet and great location and faculties. The check in and check out is always quick and easy.
