Although it's a little older than some of the apartments along the foreshore Palm Cove Tropic Apartments, it's a one minute walk to the front, has a great pool, good underground parking and good sized living area.

I turned up late so I understood why there was a letter left on the reception window telling me my room number and how to get in to our room, but it also said we look forward to meeting you tomorrow, well that’s a liar. Reception is never open. When I did find someone to talk to she was not helpful and stand offish. Just understand these apartments are fully self contained. So much sure if you’re staying for a week to bring your own toilet paper lol. Also don’t rely on the free internet, it’s doesn’t work well and you can only use a certain amount a day. Tv very small and basic, dvd player supplied. It’s really not a 4 star accomodation.

The rooms were very old and the musty smell was dreadful! The bathroom had mold and needed a lot of work to get up to scratch. When I stayed a year ago the pool was slightly heated, not this time, too cold to swim in

nice place for the price. need to cut down some trees so the pool can get sunlight. garden/trees need attention. also tv needs new remotes. Had to press firmly on the buttons a few times to change options on the tv screen.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in Palm Cove Tropic Apartments. The location was quiet and easy to find and close to dining options and the beach. The pool was a wonderful social and refreshing point at the end of each day. We loved our time there.

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful. Wayne and Karen were very helpful. Perfect location. Pool was amazing. Plenty of privacy with all the plants and trees. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, that we extended.

Great to return after 7 years to palm cove tropical apartments and to find they still have the ambience I remembered. Room was comfortable. Loved the closeness the the beach and the restaurants with the pub being 100 m away. Bus stop nearby should a trip to the supermarket or çairns be needed.
Management was ready to assist when the tv wouldn't operate and after attempt at remediation got a new tv provided. Pool was great. Yes it does have leaves but it's surrounded by magnificent melaleuca trees and they do drop leaves. The room.looked a bit tired but was still more than adequate. Good place to stay when in Palm Cove.
