The best way i can sum up this experience is by using pro and con Pros: The location of the hotel was perfect; It was walking distance from restaurants, shopping areas, food stores, and the famous copacabana beach. The area is relatively safe; walking to copacabana beach only took me 5 minutes and at no time i felt unsafe. The maintenance response was very timely. CONS: It would appear that the property is poorly managed as there was a lacking in attention to details. Housekeeping: The housekeeping department was extremely relaxed on cleaning. It seems that they only focused on making up the beds which was sub-standard. Floors remain dirty and unswept after maid service. Bathroom ceiling and showers were littered mold and was not cleaned during maid service. The rooms are not carpeted, therefore you are constantly disturbed throughout the morning, day and night by the screeching sound of furniture being moved around maid and other guests with kids. The elevator and main lob The resort management needs to invest in furniture felt or simply carpet the rooms.

Property staff was really friendly, was told TV channels worked however from around 30 channels only 10 or 15 max worked with a questionable quality. Breakfast option was limited but absolutely delicious. Room was as expected, only thing is that bathroom door was kinda rotten from one corner due to humidity. Outlets worked, AC as well, soundproof windows were a plus considering a firefighter station was nearby. Hot and cold water was available, toiletries and a hair dryer were as expected. Is well balanced considering price range.

I am basing this review on the price paid. We came during the week in wintertime. Breakfast alone justified the stay. 24 hour corner store just a few steps away. Full grocery store a few more steps away. & then of course the beach a few more steps away. Note:water in fridge is not complementary. I thought they were because there were just four small bottles of a no nane brand.

My reservation included two rooms, 302 and 402. In room 302, the towels were collected but not replaced with new ones. It took over 30 minutes to return them after we raised a complaint. In room 402, we had to visit the reception three times to ensure that the key entry was programmed correctly. Additionally, the bathroom was found to be dirty and had mold on the ceiling. Upon leaving in the morning, we returned in the evening to discover that the television stand had been broken, which was not the case when we left. After filing a report, the issue was promptly fixed. Despite the repairs, we continue to experience noise from other rooms in various directions, both inside and outside the rooms. Furthermore, the elevators have been emitting continuous beeping noises throughout the day and night.

Found 3 roaches in the room, and the funny smell like damp

horrible staff horrible facilities no first aid kit or bandages on the property horrible food will never return and will recommend against anyone visiting this hotel!

Nice spot, close to the beach, and very close to subway station!!!

First checked into room not made up, sheets on floor, lights broken--looked like a fight occurred in the room. Next room had mold in the shower, no pillow cases, uclean old cover, mattress had to be 40 years old, staff only removed trash daily and put old moldy bed cover back on. We had to demand clean towels daily. Provided breakfast was mediocre at best. 2 of 3 elevators operable for 18 floors. And more! Couldn't wait to leave.

Basic . Ok for the price. One thing to mention, the hotel charge for luggage storage when you check out and need some hours to store your luggage. Its a basic service every hotel provides for free for its customers.
