Nice location and decent price point

An oven in the could make it perfect.

The most problem was the quality of the rooms and their low quality breakfast.

Misleading advertising. The jacuzzi wasn’t functional, was basically a regular bath thub. Dirty sheets. Full of bugs.

Cosy and clean

Nice property but not maintained properly. Weeds everywhere. Breakfast is such a disappointment, we had to have it outside. No egg, pancakes or sasauges. Bathtubs have stains. Curtains don't close properly.

The resort is a little old but clean. It offers great value for what you pay for.

It was dirty and moldy. The bathroom leaked

This is a cute vintage motel within a lovely natural park-like setting, and has a good sized outdoor pool - great for kids in the summer! Pet friendly. The entire premises is somewhat unkempt, but there is lots of grass and lawns and areas to sit and play/relax outside. Some rooms may have been updated, but ours was overly dated and worn/scratchd, and the bathroom wasn't cleaned properly. They offered a basic continental breakfast from 8-9, but we missed it because the window was too tight. I liked the grounds and potential this place has. The indoor pool area is incredibly vintage and fascinating with excellent potential, but it's very bizarre with plastic flowers and strange cheap plastic decor. I hope the new owners can spruce it up. We will check it out again next month because it's pet friendly and the grounds are lovely, but would advise asking to see the room first if possible. And request extra pillow, blankets, and towels too..

It was everything that was advertised, but nothing that was implied. Eg: It had a king size bed, but it was basically a cot. It had an indoor pool, but it was in poor repair and used way too much chlorine. It had a breakfast, but only toast, coffee, and juice. It had a gift shop, but everything smell old and was extremely expensive.

Not much good. The coffee machine was dirty and unusable from weeks. Bath fan was noisy. Room carpet has smell

First room crawling with ants. Given a second room which was fine. Extended stay for 4 days. Then first day we were moved back to the section with the ants. This was ridiculous since the hotel was virtually empty. Breakfasts were spartan.

Location, cleanliness, convenience

Found the check-in person to be very unfriendly and unwelcoming. Although the res indicated complimentary cont. breakfast, was advised at 9:30 am that it was closed, really? Again this was from Mr. Personality so wasn't a surprise.

Bathroom was horrible pieces of paint were coming off the bathroom ceiling, the carpet are old and dingy. Tv way to small and hard to see from bed

The colonial resort is a nice place to go to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. They have quiet and peaceful places to sit and enjoy nature. The resort could really use some love. It seems to be trapped in the 90s. If the outdoor pool gets a facelift, the grounds are kept up and the rooms get the love they need this could be a 5 star resort. Only major problems, were the strange location of the TV in the deluxe room, a few ants, and not enough pillows.

Staff were nice and the receptionist allow us to check out late around 11:30am due to our cruise trip.
