Days Inn & Conference Centre by Wyndham Oromocto

We booked last minute due to flying into Fredericton instead of Moncton. When arriving at the hotel we were told to walk down the hall and take the stair to the 4th floor. When I seen the elevator sign and asked why we couldn’t take the elevator, they told me they were not in service. So we had to walk up 4 flight of stairs with our luggage. My parent are almost 80yrs old and my father has a hard time with stairs. After asking if we can change rooms to another floor I was told unfortunately all rooms were pre assigned and they have no rooms they can change it to. So I lugged all of our luggage by myself ( was not offered any assitance) up to the 4th floor. I was not happy. If I wasn’t there my parents could not have done it themselves. They should have anlternative plan when the elevator is out of order. We found out just before checking out that it has been out of order for several weeks. I find this unacceptable. It was never mentioned on this website that elevators was not an option. The next day to check out I lugged the luggage back down. This lack of communication between a 3rd party and the hotel should be relooked at.

The whole place is in desperate need of renovation. Rooms are extremely dated and feel not great. Several low spots in the floor that creak. Bed creaks at the slightest movement. Walls and door seem paper thin as you can clearly hear everything in the hall and adjacent rooms. Was extremely noisy. Ended up leaving early just to be done with the place because I couldn't sleep anyways thanks to the noise.

Elevator was down, inconvenient

Property is dated, only has one elevator which has been out of order since December 2024. Only one staircase in use other one designated as an emergency staircase. Renovations going on, so noisy during the day. Booked a family suite which is most expensive roomwas located on top 4th floor next to the only staircase in use. Therefore was noisy, staircase door slamming all day and all night. One positive we did like our room it was spacious and clean. When we booked this room, there was no warning the property had no functioning elevator. Upon check in is when we found out and we had to carry our luggage to the fourth floor with no assistance. Front desk employee simply shrugged her shoulders. Didn’t even apologize for this inconvenience. We are in our late 50s and the constant up and down the stairs took a toll. We didn’t sign up for a stairclimber workout on this stay. Expedia and the hotel accommodated us on shortening our stay, with a full refund for the last night. Thank you.

I love this place,but this time the elevator was broke. Im 62 years old and they put me on the top floor.

Took a longgg time for someone to greet me when I arrived. I normally don’t care but I had been driving all day. I saw someone sleeping on the desk out back. Front desk manager didn’t even say hello or even be phased that I was waiting. Proceeded to go through the check in process. “Last Name?” They tell me I’m situated on the top floor, but was informed that the elevator was not operational. I had to carry my bags all the way to the top floor. Light bulbs were not working in my room. Oh and the TV is tiny and I had to set it up before I could use it as the set top box was not reading. The shower drains slower than the water that comes out so you are standing in dirty water while you shower. Pillows were flatter than a pancake. Didn’t provide a receipt or thank me for my stay. Had to call back to have one emailed. Needless to say, I will unlikely return.

No elevator it has been out of service for a while. Not cool climbing stairs to third floor. They do not provide milk in the room for tea and coffee we had to buy some at the in-house restaurant. Staff was great but fix the elevator and put milk in the room for tea and coffee!

The only thing I didn’t like there was no elevator so going up three flights of stairs was a bit much.

Nice 3 days stay in Oromocto. Room needs a little love, still with carpet,which is outdated. Elevator not in service. Overall ok. Good size fridge, microwave clean and coffee maker all in good condition. Continental breakfast good, plenty of choices. We had a suite.

The property is in close proximity to the airport and only about 7 minutes. It is clean. Although the rooms are dated due to furniture and carpet it is very clean and housekeeping does a great job. The bathroom was recently redone. The elevator was out of order and staying on the 4th floor was a bit of a pain when coming and going with suitcases but not the end of the world. Free breakfast was good with a variety of options. Not much within walking distance unless you walk down and over the bridge over the hwy so having a car is kind of needed. Pool and gym was nice. Staff was very friendly and allowed me to work in a space that wasn’t being used for a few hours when my flight was delayed. The housekeeping I had was really good and everything was spotless. Beds were comfy and rooms were spacious with not a lot of hallway or other room noise.

Elevator is not working. Our room is in 4th floor. We have heavy luggages. Very inconvenient. Never heard from the staff for an apology even just to ease the situation.

Elevator was not working. The breakfast was a waste of time. We drove from Alberta to Nova Scotia and all the other hotels had decent breakfast. This one did jot have protein and just had cereals and bread - not even a balanced breakfast. Will never recommend this to anyone.

Decent hotel close to airport but elevator getting major repair so no elevators. Ice machine out of order. It’s a 3-3.5 star

The elevator was being replaced and we were not notified prior to arriving at the hotel. Walking up and down 4 floors was a lot. Hotel staff didn’t seem to care

Had a nice stay with my kids. The pool was fun, beds comfortable and pretty quiet. The continental breakfast was decent. However, room needs some updating. Provide lotion for guests and the flooring looked like it had water damage. Rooms need a modern touch and upgrades. Elevator broken still!!! Last time we were there, the elevator was broken. Need to get that fixed asap! Dated hotel. Needs some updating for sure.

The hotels elevator was out of commission Again. Why does your site not update on important necessities like this. My wife has issues with mobility. We would never have booked if we knew this. I wanted to cancel right away but didn't know how hard it would be to do. So my wife suffered through it. How can I trust this site anymore. Am I going to have to call every hotel now after book through you.
